Northern Michigan Approved (for a Fall Boot)

Currently awaiting the sun to rise (deer season) and just thinking to myself "God Dang am I HAPPY with said $135 purchase" Not much of a "reviewer" but these are safe to say legit for FALL weather; snow is present & Temps are freezing. No issue nor complaint. These bad boys fit SNUG and are warm ! Would definitely recommend for bow into early rifel....Northern Woods Approved ! Toe box and traction are on point. Wouldn't suggest for winter, I'd shoot for a 1000 gram Insulate boot. Some people are simply stupid and assume all boots are for winter.... smh You HA E to think for yourself and be SMART about details of the product. These are NOT GORTEX so they will NOT be water tight nor even properly insulated for extreme abuse. These are AMAZING for what n how they're made to perform !!!!!! Coming from a seasoned n knowledgeable mountain Hiker (Colorado Baby) Cheers yall n enjoy this faboulose product Buy TYPICAL size these fit n run TRUE to US size chart. Written from muh blind in upper MI Nov. 29th 2022 at 32°f after 2 hours sitting.....

Great BUT ...

... it is cumbersome to tie the laces! And hence, it is hard to tighten the shoe snuggly on the feet! I wish Rocky would have installed loops instead of mere hooks!

These are not wide even though they are descibed as wide.

Not wide as described and very little arch support. Otherwise is acceptable

Very nice, but need to be offered in extra wide sizes.

At first glance, these boots look beautiful and over all well made. However, they should be available in an extra wide size. I have very wide feet and need all the extra width I can get for just everyday wear. But as I wear them around the home, they do seem to stretch a tiny bit and get a little more comfortable. Although my 10W pair is snug yet wearable, they are certainly a no go for wearing a second layer of socks as may be needed in extreme cold weather, winter hunting. The waterproof feature has not yet been tested on my boots, but soon will be. I will provide an update on this asap. Hope this review helps someone.

Comfortable boots

I really like these boots hunted in them several times before writing this review and they are very comfortable they kept my feet warm on a couple of 20 degree days. I would definitely recommend them.

Rocky men's 8-inch retraction boot

I purchased these boots at the end of deer season last year and have been using them all of this season this year and they're very versatile with 800 G of insulation and can use them early season almost all the way through late season. I've had these boots and single degree temperatures several times and although the toes get cold from standing on a metal platform when on the ground they instantly heat up again with only two pairs of socks. They're really comfortable to walk in and to hike up and down Steve Hills and Valleys and get good Traction in the mud and snow. So far they are waterproof and haven't what did I do too much water but it did break through the ice a couple of times and my feet did remain dry. Other than that I can't comment too much on the longevity of the boots but so far it seems like they're holding up really well so far so good!

Not Waterproof as stated

I boot runs narrow. I would order a half size larger. The description states that the boot is waterproof yet on the boot tongue it clearly says water resistant. Not sure how they can get away with a straight up lie…let’s call it an embellishment.

Light, comfortable, dry readily and withstand rigorous use.

Bought these for my husband to hunt with and he says they are amazing- walked in mud and water and barely got socks wet, from over top of boot! And they dried out quickly. Friend says he has had his for 20 years and still work well.
