If this had a backlight .....

I bought 3 of these watches for work. I DID NOT read that there was no back light or lume. ...In my opinion, this watch would rival any sub $400 G Shock if it had lume and a back light.

Great all round duo display watch. Stylish and fun.

First, thanks for allowing this watch to be sold in New Zealand, which doesn't often happen. We miss out on many deals you Americans enjoy. Now the watch. I have many watches, but this one appeals to me for the clarity of the display, the ease of reading it in poor light, and the size in general. It also doesn't have the horrible styling and sharp, uncomfortable, unergonomic edges that afflict so many Casio watches. It is smooth and comfy, and doesn't irritate the skin or catch arm hairs. And the world map feature is reminiscent of the expensive Bluetooth Casio watches. The digital features are sufficient, and the mini display is JUST big enough to read easily. However, there is no night light, which means I can't wear it at night, so that's why it loses a star. What it does have works very well indeed. Although we have to pay higher postage than most, this watch is still worth it, especially with the long life battery - it will last way more than 10 years without a light. This is a great deal!

Casio is a no brainer, right?

This handsome casio watch complements my watch collection just fine. Despite of not being a g-shock nor have many features to offer, I still like. It definitely is an easy reader and if you so agree, it can be your beater watch.

All time favorite watch

This watch is amazing for the price. I have had mine for 5 years or so and I wear it regularly. It's very comfortable resin strap. The design of the face is I think stunningly beautiful. Yes that is a bit strong for a $25 watch but the way the globe pops out, the legibility on par with a high priced dive watch and the funcationality of a timer, stop watch, world time and a data bank you will never use, but still.. cool watch!

Good watch - but you must read the instructions!

It's a great watch for the price. Note that it has no stem, so you definitely have to read the tiny print instruction book to determine the sequence of buttons to push to set the time, date, analog hands etc. Once I got it set - no problems. I would buy it again.

comes from the US..theres a British version half the price but nowhere near as goodlooking!

looks good-some really good features-but no illuminator!! theres a 24 hour stop watch and timer-very rare..The reason why I bought it. Casio normally do 1 hour stop watches which is useless!! downside is theres no light-takes about 3 weeks to arrive and screen is not scratch proof

Robusto pero ligero

Muy bonito. Es grande pero ligero. El bisel no gira,pero no lo necesitas,tienes un cronógrafo digital. Además cuenta con una función tipo data bank para guardar teléfonos. Tiene hora mundial, entre otras monadas. Lo no tan bueno es los menús digitales son algo pequeños y no tan legibles y menos si las manecillas están sobre ellos. Ajustar la hora de las manecillas es algo complicado. Es robusto, luce muy bien,muy legible la parte análoga No tiene iluminación,pero las manecillas tienen pasta luminosa

Ihr Geld wert

Die Uhr wurde schnell und gut verpackt (in Orginalverpackung) geliefert. Die Bedienungsanleitung war nur in englischer, französischer und spanischer Sprache verfügbar. Die Einstellung der Uhrzeit ist etwas kompliziert und ohne Anleitung nicht durchführbar. Die Uhr ist schön leicht, hat ein angenehm weiches Armband und trägt sich somit sehr bequem. Vermissen tu ich die fehlende Zifferblattbeleuchtung, denn dadurch ist die Uhr Nachts nur eingeschränkt zu gebrauchen. Zur Wasserdichtigkeit kann ich noch nicht viel sagen, denn hatte die Uhr nur ein paarmal zum Duschen und Geschirrspülen an, nicht aber unter Wasser. Alles in allem ist sie ihr Geld sicher wert, mehr aber auch nicht.

Too Complicated

I bought this watch 2 1/2 years ago but am finally discarding it. In its favor are its low price, its being very accurate and its having a battery that is said to last about 10 years. The reason I am getting rid of it is that I found it to be way too complicated to set when that was required. The analog and digital time keeping are not synchronized and have to be set separately. When that was needed I found I actually had to get out the instruction booklet in order to go through what I perceived to be a confusing and complicated process in order to adjust each of the digital and analog times settings. I have just now purchased an analog replacement which can be reset, when necessary, in the old fashioned, but intuitive, quick and easy way.

Muy bueno

Me parece un reloj de buena calidad, de buen diseño y de buenos materiales, las manecillas son las únicas que brillan en la oscuridad, los números no. El único detalle que le encuentro es la complejidad de modificar la hora de las manecillas ya que sólo es posible cambiarla por medio de los botones. De ahí en fuera, en mi caso fue una buena opción ya que pagué sólo $357MXN por él. Lo recomiendo si buscas un reloj sencillo pero que se salga de lo ordinario.
