Great liners

Seemed good at first ... but...

Bought a pair of these liners for husband who is an around-town walker. They fit well and he liked them, so ordered 3 pair more. Then after a second wearing and about a 5-mile walk and one washing, there was two holes in the seam at the hole. This was definitely NOT caused by long toenails or anything like that, the liners simply tore open at the seam there. Sorry we ordered those 3 yet-to-be-worn pair! Won't purchase anything from this product maker again. UPDATE: Opened one of the new packages today - 10/17/22 - and one sock had a hole in it, the other one had runs throughout.

Very Thin Well Made Great Liners for Waders

ordered 4th pair. Not due to defects but I lost the first pair I ordered. Very, very thin liner for waders. Really makes it easy to get your waders on/off. Excellent base layer for 2nd pair sox for colder water. Well made, durable. Just easy to lose..........

doesn't wick well, not slippery

This was an experimental purchase, in an aim to replace a couple of pair of well-used, well-loved, but ancient pairs of sock liners. After half a dozen longish (8 to 12 miles) outings in summer conditions, I've learned that they just don't make the grade for serious hiking. The polyprop doesn't wick nearly as well as it should and the combination of the thin-ness and roughness of the fabric made for hot spots in places I never had them before, like above the ankle bone. I also had to stop, remove my boots and socks for a redo on two of the longer hikes.

Quality Drop

I’ve purchased these socks for years. They’ve been great; lightweight, easy to wash & dry, doesn’t constrict, long lasting. I use mine as socks only, not as a liner. I loved them. Over the last couple orders I’ve noticed the fabric getting thinner. I got my last order a few months ago and they were noticeably thinner. I had holes and runs within weeks. These socks used to be able to take months and months of daily abuse as a primary sock. Good luck with that now. I’ve moved on to lightweight bamboo. Tough as nails.

Great inner sock

For those who wear heavy work boots, either for work, hiking, or other purposes, insulated and waterproof boots tend to make feet sweat, in summer or winter. These socks, worn as an inner sock help keep the foot dry, the moisture goes to heavier, outer wool or wool blend socks (what I use) and the liner sock keeps the foot from binding and bunching those heavy outer socks, preventing blisters and increasing comfort. Whether hiking, hunting, walking long distances, or just on your feet all day working, these work great.

Good stuff, less sweat and blisters

After multi day hiking in low grade to rough terrains, wearing crappy boots in alternating cold to hot temps they saved my feet from blistering or overheating. Wore a proper wool outer sock over them and stayed comfortable and minimally sweaty foot wise. Good stuff.

These will be great on the next camping trip for undersocks. Last trip I was bitten through my sock by an Arizona Recluse. The venom destroys a lot of tissue. Hope these will help protect me on the next trip.
