Testicles

This review is probably just as much about testicles as it is about the underwear. Anyway, I am an older guy in his 50’s who had some discomfort in one of his testicles. It turned out to be epididymitis, inflammation of the tube around the back of the testicle. In my case, according to my urologist, it was caused from the testicles rubbing between the legs and getting injured due to compression either from getting in and out of the car, running or almost anything else that can cause compression… So, now for the review: My urologist recommended either wearing a jock strap or underwear that lifts and separates instead of the tighty whiteys I’ve been wearing all my life. I didn’t like the idea of wearing a jock strap so I searched for underwear that lifts and separates. Their are many brands out there which are very expensive and I just don’t have that kind of money for underwear so I figured I’d try these. I really like them and they do exactly what I needed them to do to prevent reinjury to my testicle(s). They are comfortable and fit exactly like the sizing chart. I actually have a 33 inch waist and the mediums fit perfectly. As far as the moisture wicking ability, I don’t sweat a lot so I don’t really know if that feature works but it makes for a light breathable fabric that adds to the overall comfort. I can’t really comment about their durability because I haven’t had them long enough to test how long they will last but they are holding up through the ordinary laundry just fine. I can’t really comment about the looks either except that my wife says I look good in them but she’s my wife so I can’t really tell if that’s an honest comment or if she’s just being nice.

Comfy, cool… but misleading

I first want to start off by saying that I was impressed enough that I immediately ordered 6 more pairs, but this has nothing to do with the “total support pouch”. These are by far the best fitting, most comfortable, and the coolest (temperature wise) briefs I’ve ever owned. The mesh fly and the mesh between the bums and the jewels is really nice and keeps things breezy. But, the “total support pouch” is an utter fail. I bought briefs and trunks and for both, the pouch just does not work for me. It’s really just two mesh flaps and that’s about it. For the few minutes my boys are in the “pouch” it’s super nice, supporting, and comfortable. But within minutes they are everywhere but inside of the pouch. I’m not sure if this is a personal issue or not, but I really don’t think it should be this difficult to keep the eggs in the basket. Overall, extremely comfortable (although the pouch has squeezed me uncomfortably after falling out of it) and I’m happy with my purchase. Just wish the pouch was better.

Very nice

Ordered these for my boyfriend and just ???????? They look so good on him! I bought him a few cheeky (pun fully intended) prints from that Shinesty website and he fell in love with the ball hammock. But from Shinesty it's like $30 a pair! Ridiculous price, solely purchased for the novelty. He was so excited when he saw that Hanes was making them and he loves them! Ladies, there are some real perks to these man panties and I highly recommend buying them for your man! Mine likes the long leg to prevent chafing because he got them thighs ???? He also works a very blue collar, hard physical labor 3rd shift job and says these keep his crown jewels secure and dry all night. And they're VERY flattering! Every time he walks past me he looks like he's about to hulk out of that support pouch and I can't keep my eyes off him! Also (and this is my favorite part) when he bends over they're just the slightest bit see through! If your man is the type who likes to walk around in his underwear, or if he just needs an upgrade for his old tattered shorts, these are a great choice. Very nice to look at, and according to him a wonderful product that exceeded his expectations! They're even more comfortable and more durable than the overpriced Shinesty boxers. He rates 5/5 stars. I give them a 27/5. Definitely gonna be stocking his drawers full of these!

Perfect place to park your pecker.

I'm kind of digging this new parking garage for the old pecker. It has a separating effect in the front that pulls your pecker outward a bit, and thusly your applesack and gooch get a good airflow going. Every farmer's market needs a good ventilation system, and this tent has as good of a flow factor as any I have pitched. Thank you Hanes, my 3xl tents are size appropriate, well constructed, and should be considered a safe purchase for anyone. ⛺️

price, fit, and comfort

This is a good replacement for the other brands that charge 8 times as much for theirs. This has the pouch, stretch fabric and breathable material. The pouch seems improved--better grasp of the situation. The fabric is sadly a bit see-through to achieve its breathability. Let's hope the wicking feature works, or else its going to have all the sweat removal quality of pantyhose. I've never worn pantyhose, so I'm not sure what I've just said, but I suppose you get my point. The long leg style is just perfect: it reaches just to the hem of shorts, and does not rise or roll up. For the price, fit, and comfort, this is a "buy again."

Well made and supportive

Minor Medical Content Alert: Like many guys, I have hydroceles, which enlarge my scrotum and make boxers and regular briefs uncomfortable. I need to be lifted and supported, and these Hanes are perfect at the job. They lift, support, and breathe for all-day comfort, and I am no longer having to adjust myself all the time. (Gross!) I imagine these would also be comfortable for more gifted fellows, as well.

Light & breathable

I bought these back in Aug 22. It's late April 23. They starting to fray & come apart. They fit and are comfortable, but I kinda like the ones made from bamboo rayon I bought at the same time better. They both help with friction. I guess their less than a year lifespan comes with the territory of lite and breathable.

Cheaply Made

They are comfortable and light. I do like the mesh that's built in. Only problem is they seem to be cheaply made. After only 3 washes they have started falling apart. The thread is coming out. Disappointing really.. If they don't last then are they worth buying? Now that is the question.

A step forward in underwear technology

These underwear are quite comfortable & work especially well in the summer heat. the "pouch" which is really more ridges that separate your parts from your inner thigh are just what the doctor ordered to avoid sweaty friction that can be so uncomfortable on those hot days. they've also included a mesh strip that goes along the inside of the crotch to allow some air flow that combined with the moisture wicking fabric makes for a good choice on humid days to avoid that "not so fresh feeling". The colours are pretty basic (exactly as pictured) & they're overall pretty comfy The price is comparable to what you might pay for underwear at Walmart etc. but as far as i know they don't stock these & the ones they do stock do not come with these features. these are definitely worth the money...

Not worth the money.

I did not find these to be any better than my M&S Y-fronts even though they cost three times as much. They also have the disadvantage that they cannot be washed with the use of fabric conditioner. Furthermore as they are made purely from synthetic material they become uncomfortable as that area of the body warms up. They do not provide the total support that I expected to get. Out of the pack of 3 that I bought I have only used two. They are definitely overpriced for what they are.
