comfortable

I haven't had the shoes but 3 hours so I can't speak to durability. The first thing I noticed was the width correct for my wide size and the shoe fits perfectly. The length has an extra half inch as do my old Rockport shoes. After wearing around the house a short time I noticed there was no arch support and the insole seemed slippery. I removed the insoles to find cheap flat foam that weighed only 43 grams or 1-1/2 ounce. I replaced them with arch supporting insoles purchased here on Amazon. The shoe does not tie easily. The strings aren't a good match for the eyelets because they can't easily be pulled tight to close the shoe around the foot. The sole feels like hard rubber rather than the softer rubber that usually squeaks as you run around on the floor with other shoes or sneakers. I would give 5 stars except for the cheap insoles that are worthless.

Nice Shoes But They Just Eat The Laces

They are nice shoes, like you would expect from Rockport. But the eyelets seem to have been designed by someone who has never seen shoes before. They pinch the laces and just eat them up. I wear these shoes once or twice a week and am buying new laces already. They should either fix the eyelets or ship them with a couple extra sets of laces.

Solid shoe, eats laces

I'm a little under two months in, and I've gone through two sets of shoe laces. The eyelets are sharp, and unyielding. If you lace loose, you should be fine, but if you like a tight fit plan on cinching from the bottom up each time.

Support

Nice looking,,wide width which is great,,,I feel it lacks support for a walking shoe,,, low arch support if any and lower rear heel dynamic. If it had the latter I would have bought two.

This is my second pair. Love them. Wear is excellent much longer than similar shoes.

Built well but uncomfortable

These seem to be made of pretty good material. I bet they'll last quite a while and they're super lightweight. Traction is good on wet stuff and they have good support. But they're the most uncomfortable shoe I've ever worn. I've been breaking them in for a couple of weeks and it's still like walking on boards strapped to my feet. They look like they'd be comfortable but they feel like dress shoes.

Light and Supportive

These shoes are extremely comfortable and light. Soles are well cushioned and the exterior mesh is soft and stylish in gray color. I can easily wear these for my commute to work and keep them on throughout the day. I highly recommend these Rockports.
