Bought for an English Mastiff

I purchased this muzzle to use on an English Mastiff foster dog. I have two cats and this dog had never been introduced to cats before. A bite from a 150lb dog could kill my cats, so I wanted to take care and protect them during the introductions. The muzzle is very high quality & has lots of room for his big, drooly jowls. He was able to take and eat treats while wearing it. His nose was maybe a little too short for the muzzle because the padding on the top pushes against his eyes. I will not use it for long periods of time, so this isn't a big issue for me or the dog.

Beautifully made.

I have a 190 lb English Mastiff who has a habit of chasing my goats. He is my mobility service dog and I was not willing to rehome him! It was either my goats or the dog- until I hit on the idea of a muzzle. That way he can be out with me and not harm my livestock while I'm not looking. It works perfectly. He puts his head right in willingly after a short training session involving liverwurst. It fits him nicely. I had to trim down the nose pad a bit because the upper edge was digging into his eyes. The muzzle was worth every penny!
