Too light!!

Nice..but way to light on color. They seem a bit darker on picture. More like on the caramel color side.

Pretty but it can be a little tricky adjusting the coarseness of the pepper. Stopper for salt shaker is hard to remove.

Good salt and pepper set

I bought this set as my old pepper mill broke. The set is made of nice looking hardwood. The pepper mill is instantly adjustable for the size of ground pepper it produces. It should be noted that if you tighten it down too much the pepper mill appears not to work. I made that mistake intially. I would have given it a five star rating, but I now wish the set was just a little bigger.

Great for the price!

I love freshly cracked black pepper on many things and this does the job without breaking the bank. Other high end pepper mills on the market are really expensive and I don't understand why. This works pretty well and you can adjust the coarseness which is great. Overall, I think it's great great value for money. I certainly recommend this little pepper mill for everyday use.

Not as nice as pictured...

To me, they look like brown plastic, not wood. There is no wood grain whatsoever. Also, the peppermill is a lighter shade of brown than the salt shaker. I wanted to like them, but they look sort of cheap, I guess because they are.

looks great and works as it should

pepper mill- high efficiency compared to otehr pepper mills, the granules come out really well, i've also used it for rock salk, works great salt shaker - not bad, does what its suppose to do, the salt some times get stuck to the sides and the grill and does not come out easily,

Functional

I had a wooden pepper grinder that could grind very coarse or super fine pepper depending on how tight you screwed the knob on top. This is not that pepper grinder.
