18-24 months vs 2-4T
Originally got the 18-36months socks for my daughter last year, they held up well and are still in very good condition but she’s growing out of them. Wanted to repurchase in next size up so I ordered the “2t-4t” size. These socks are so large that my toddler won’t fit into them, my niece is 6 years and wears 13 kids shoes and these socks are so large that the heel part of the sock it 1-2 inches above the where it should fit on her, they could fit a woman size 7 If they weren't so narrow. Great socks but size is not 2-4t, it’s much larger.

Best winter socks for my almost 2 yr old!
I've been looking for warm winter socks for my daughter, and I came across these by chance. She has a lot of thinner socks, and it was surprising that not many retailers sell thick winter socks for toddlers. Anyway, after about 2.5 months of daily wear and 8-10 washes, I think I can give a thorough review on these. 1. They are pretty thick. If it's about time for your toddler to size up on his/her shoes, these will definitely not fit. My daughter had just gotten new pair of shoes, so it had a little more room than her old pair. She wears these socks with her sneakers and with her fleece-lined boots. If you're familiar with Bombas socks for tots, the Carhartts are just slightly thinner and plushier than those. 2. They don't have grippys on the bottom, active toddlers beware. My daughter is really active. The moment her feet touches a surface, she is gone. We didn't realize how slippery these socks are on hardwood floors, and the first time she had them on and tried to run, she slipped and fell. Luckily she was not hurt - you do have to be careful, toddlers can get hurt not just from the impact of the fall, but on slippery surfaces, they can actually twist their ankles and get fractures (happened to my friend's kid from just that). This is my one complaint about these socks. Gap puts grippys on newborn socks (but seriously, why), why don't these have grippys?!? As a result, my daughter is not allowed to wear these around the house, these are only for going outside. 3. They wash well - but be careful of what you put in the wash. These washes really well and does not shrink... BUT, in one wash, a zipper from her jeans got caught in one of the socks and the thread pulled and well, now that one sock is ruined. :( I usually put socks in small mesh bag to prevent something like this from happening, but one sock went rogue and ultimately met its own demise. 4. They're cute. Really, I think these are super cute. I'll be buying more of these once they come back in stock! :)

Downside if you are getting these for a toddler. I got 2T- 4T They look like adult sizes

Carhartt…Socks…Happy Feet!
Bought for my Granddaughter, these socks are worthy of the Carhartt label. Nice, comfortable, soft, warm. For a two year old who doesn’t always wear shoes, these are worth the money, Vs just, socks, that wear thin, and don’t hold up…well pleased.

Great quality
These socks are warm, fit great. They wash well and handle lots of bare socked traffic. It’s great to have warm girl socks without having to buy boy athletic socks. We will purchase again!!

Good socks, but very frustrating sizing
I bought these for my 4 yr old and 2 yr old. They were bigger than expected. I bought the girls 8-11 for my 4 yr old and the toddler 4-11 (2t-4t) for my 2 yr old. They got here and the bigger ones were way too big and the smaller ones fit both of them, so I returned the bigger ones and ordered a second pair of the smaller ones. Then they said they were undeliverable and gave me a refund, so I ordered them again. They just came and they are not the same size. I ordered them from my original order, so I don't understand how they could have gotten mixed up. I'm confused and frustrated and don't want to have to send the bigger ones back again, so that is why I'm only giving 3 stars.

Love these socks!
These socks fit my 11-month-old daughter very well. They are soft, thick, well-made, stretch nicely and simply adorable! I would recommend these socks with the disclaimer: There is no grippy material on the bottom, so they can get slippery wood floors, play mats or tile.

Great medium weight hiking socks
Socks are nice and soft. I would consider them to be a medium weight hiking sock. They are not super thick but thicker than most toddler socks
