Apparently a hard item to ship safely. This is a replacement as the first one arrived in pieces..this one arrived with a chip in the side but since this type of fixture is near impossible to find in a local store I am going to keep it

It got the job done
I purchased this to replace a circa 1953 ceiling light with the hope I could reuse the existing shade. It wasn't too difficult to install and my existing shade fit. It drops about 2 inches lower than the original light which means I can see some of the works, but it's not as notices I feared. It was a good cheap fix for my situation.

External box ok. Internal box ok. Glass everywhere when I opened the internal box. Unable to reach manufacture for replacement glass. Sold by & shipped by Amazon. DON'T BUY THIS ONE.
