When I first received this liner, which came very quickly, I thought it a bit odd that the brand tag was on the back (I'm used to knitted caps with the branding on one side-or-the-other of the front). I then noticed that one side seemed to bulge out a bit. I put the cap on and found that the only way to get rid of the bulge on the one side, was to pull it down hard and beyond where it was comfortable to me. I turned it inside-out to see if it could be easily fixed. I folded the cap in half on the front-to-back seams, and found that it was a simple case of how it was stitched. Obviously, the person that sewed it paid no attention to concentricity. I could get my wife's sewing machine out and resew it properly, but this is obviously a case of no quality control. I would have directly contacted the seller first, but Amazon doesn't make that easy to accomplish. I do like the fire resistant material and especially the price. I just wish they had cared more for their product quality than this. I guess I could return it and then reorder, hoping I get one that is properly stitched. If they make it right, I'll come back and boost the rating. *UPDATE: Returning the original cap. Just received the replacement cap from Amazon. Very quick turn-around with no hassles. Original seller was not involved as Amazon is handling everything on that end. However, it appears that the same person stitched the 2nd cap as stitched the first. These caps are made in Canada, according to the tag on the inside. The issue I had with the first cap still, pretty much, exists with the second. I knew I was taking a chance with it, but I had at least hoped that the first was an issue of slipping by quality control. I think part of the issue, putting aside that the person sewing this was probably in a hurry and just going by muscle memory, is that they start and end the stitching halfway along a seam (the same one on both caps). They start stitching the seam halfway down the one side and go to the end; they then, go back to the other end of that seam and sew until they get to where they started the first stitch and they start running the stitch off of the seam before they fully tie-in both stitches. This helps to create the small bulge that still exists on even the second cap (at least this is down, where when you pull the cap on, it kinda stretches that out and hides the flaw a bit. The second cap is more concentric than the first and the big bulge that was on the first one, isn't near as obvious on the second, so I'll keep the second one. I just hope that the manufacturer reads this and decides to do some quality control. It is true what they say, 'you get what you pay for'; but I'll still keep trying to buy the less expensive item, because now, many times, American manufacturers get other countries to do their cheap work for them, and then just charge more because they can; so, it's still cheaply made with an expensive price.
