Works Well But Use Care

I purchased a set of these primarily to run off my drip irrigation to water my flower beds that measure a 15' x 20' area. They actually work well, cover a large area, and are all inclusive in that the spray head is built into the top of the stake. What I like about these is that the stake is long and has a hole molded into the side to secure the tubing. Other products require risers or short and expensive stakes that must be purchased separately. I connected a 1/4" drip line run onto the connector below the spray head. The spray is adjustable. For the most part they do a decent job watering my flowers and plants. The range is true as described covering 5' to 10' but the spray is not as uniform under a lower setting. My flower bed is irregularly shaped and I was able to completely water everything with four 180 degree heads and one 360 degree head. For the money I think they are a good value but there are a couple of deficiencies. First, the spray uniformity as I mentioned. You can reduce the flow but your coverage is very uneven with some spray strong in a couple of directions and drips on other parts of the spray head. These ideally will work under medium to full blast. Second, if you need a short range throw these are definitely not going to work and will overshoot your plants unless you place them a distance away from your target. If your area is tight, less than 5 feet, I would not suggest these. But if you have the space and need large coverage this will do the trick. Thirdly, the connector for the 1/4" line hookup is very fragile. I broke 2 of the first 3 without even putting a lot of effort into to it. My recommendation is using a heat gun to soften the end of the 1/4" tubing for a few seconds and then immediately place the tube onto the connector. Using this method I had no further issues. I took off 1 star and feel that 4 stars is appropriate. These sprayers are a convenient all inclusive tool that covers a good amount of area. The price is fair considering that the stake and spray head are built in together. Just connect your line, adjust, and let your plants enjoy the shower.

This worked really well. I had to buy it because my existing stake had broken off where it connects to the little hose. I just had to cut the hose and push it back onto this stake and it worked perfectly.

Worthless!

The nipple to which the 1/4" tubing attaches breaks! It's a terrible design: if they had angled the nipple perpendicular to the stake you could at least have a chance to get the tubing on. But the nipple is parallel to the stake making it difficult to get the tubing on. The nipple is VERY FRAGILE so during the process of trying to wrestle the tubing on the nipple breaks. Even with the old landscaping tip of lubricating the nipple and tube with saliva or lubricant the nipple still breaks. Worthless.

There is only one in the package not two like the picture

based on the image, I thought I was getting two of these. There is only one that came with the order. The description says "head" so likely it is supposed to have only one, but the picture is mis-leading and in fact makes it not such a good deal.
