It's a big. not great.

I just got this and already hate 2 things. First off the handles don't clip on both sides. They only clip on the bottom so if you separate these the clip will be near the heat. If I have to whip out my oven mitts or barbecue gloves there's no point for handles. Second issue. when it's one unit It's hard to get it that way. You have to get it just so or else it won't fit flush. The close-up pictures show how it needs to be to sit flush. design flaws that should be corrected on the next one.

Good for coffee roasting

Mesh is perfect size for coffee roasting on a grill. The mesh keeps beans in the bowl but allows the chaffe to fall out. Need grill gloves, handle gets extremely hot!

Works great

Works great, I love filling it with veggies and tossing it on the smoker. One suggestion if you're looking at getting this is to buy yourself a nice pair of insulated grill gloves and skip trying to use the handles, grab the basket and give it a toss while holding it closed with the gloves instead of trying to use the handles and them slipping and opening. I use some butcher twine to tie the two sides closed as well and it seems to work out well, can't fault them for the baskets being a little loose as the choice is to have it easy to put together and take apart or something that you need the jaws of life to open. Edit: Turns out it can also be used to sift wood pellets for smokers, fits around 5lb in the lower half and then you just put the top on and give it a few shakes.

Hard to Clean

We'll keep it but probably not use it too often. We used it for the first time yesterday. I oiled it up before using it, but chicken and beef stuck in a few spots. I wouldn't recommend it or buy it for anyone else.

Update - I just bought two more of these to give as presents to my Sons-in-Law!

This is by far my favorite grilling tool. I have a Weber 330 Genesis which is large enough for me to put the entire basket on the grill and close the lid. I also have a very heavy duty pair of leather grill gloves which are absolutely essential if you use this unit. HOT! My favorite is to cube a decent cut of meat, some shrooms, peppers, onions, and just about anything you can think of. Marinate this for an hour or two, and cook for 10 - 15 minutes on 350 - 400 degrees. I rotate and shake the pan on 5 minute intervals. You're going too love this. It takes the trouble out trying to keep all the veggies etc on the shish kabobs sticks. I'd buy this again in a heart beat.

Almost perfect, almost

I had really wanted this to be perfect and it almost was. There is one blatant design flaw however that needs to be rectified, in my opinion. There is no feature that allows you to hold the baskets together when flipping. I’m talking about something like a piece of metal that you slide over the handles keep the basket together. Without it the baskets have a tendency to open and spill the contents onto the grill. I fixed the issue by taking a piece from an old basket and using it on this new one. It made it just what I wanted. (See picture). PS. Make sure you have a good set of insulated gloves on when you either turn the basket on the grill or remove it from the grill, it gets really hot and holds the heat.

Vegetables never tasted as good

I use this several times a week. All it takes is 1)hold the bottom over the sink and spray with cooking oil, cut your vegetables up and toss with olive oil, seasonings OR just put them in the basket and spray again , season and put the top on. I put the basket on a medium hot(350) grill and shake every 5 minutes for 20 minutes. They are slightly crunchy and most have grill marks. I have never had a problem with the top coming off when I shake. It can't if you are holding the handles and have them attached correctly. I remove the top basket when I close our grill lid and reattach when I need to shake again.

Great Quality & Value

Perfect for grilling larger baskets of vegetables and being able to shake and flip. Heavy duty design makes it easy to grip and shake/flip.

Cheap product. Paint deficient. No way to clip it close

Will obviously work to cook my chicken wings. However, it will sure rust quickly as the paint job is cheap. There are spots where there is no paint at all... see picture. I am sure it will be all rusted after a couple ride in my BBQ. Also, on their images the lid seems to stay closed by itself. That will not do it. The only way would be holding it with your hands. I'm thinkin about steel wire mesh to tie it close as I'm smoking food so I can just turn it upside down once in a while.
