Mixed feelings about these

The shoes are beautiful. I love the colors and they move just how they should for a fast-paced dance exercise class. But they are tight. I normally wear a 9 wide, so it’s partly my fault for going for a regular 9. However, the way the inside soles are stitched gave me blisters on both toes and my heels. I don’t know if it’s because they’re tight or just how they’re made. I got them for a great price, so I’m not too upset. But had I paid regular price, I would have been very disappointed.

Still love these dancing shoes. Ordering another pair at this great price as a back up.

Been a Zumba Fitness dance instructor for years, and need serious support and pivoting action. I have been wearing Ryka dance sneakers for years, in the in the Devotion XT style - I have owned all the colors they make in that model for almost 9 years, as I replace my sneakers often because I put a lot of dance "miles" on them. For some reason Ryka is down to only 2 colors in the Devotion XT mid top, and i already own them. So I got tired of waiting for a new color and reluctantly looked for something different. after reading reviews, I stumbled across Pastry dance sneakers, and thought I would try them. WOW! I am pleasantly surprised at the comfort and support. I normally take a 7 (which allows for an orthotic insert), but i listened to reviews and the size adjustment suggestion, and ordered a half size up to a 7 1/2. I removed the cushion soles ( there was some mild adhesive under them to keep them in place , but came out with a good tug). I was sad to remove them because they seemed EXTRA CUSHY, but I need my orthotics to correct my arch. With my orthotics, the sneakers fit perfectly and they are so supportive and comfortable. I love the white an peach color, as they match so many of my colorful Zumba outfits. Even if you do not use orthotic inserts, I suggest you order at least 1/2 size up...remember, I had to REMOVE the existing sole pads out and replaced them with mine. I will order another a pair for certain!

Runs small, lots of padding

I bought these on sale for an incredible price, so any complaints I might have are mostly outweighed by my satisfaction with these shoes. The padding along the entire length of the foot is wonderful, I've got chronic pain issues and was specifically searching for a pair of shoes that would give great arch support and these certainly do the trick. I replaced the laces since the ones that come with the shoe were a bit small, and the shoe sizes run small so pay careful attention to what size you wear before buying, both your shoe size as well as how wide or narrow your feet are. The padding also creates a near platform effect when wearing them, so keep in mind they will make you appear taller if that's something you don't want to deal with. All in all, they're comfortable and decent quality, especially if you get them on sale.

Comfortable

I like the comfort and the snugness, dislike that they are not slip resistant. Overall good buy, have been wearing them constantly.

Walking on air!

I’m a little embarrassed to say I did not know these were dance shoes and I almost didn’t try them on when I saw the box. BUT I’m so GLAD I did. These are so comfortable and exactly the arch support I need!! I can’t believe I got them at such a deal!
