Worth the investment!

My 8 and 5 yr olds were absolutely thrilled! I wasn’t sure if A) it would hold their interest for more than 5 minutes and B) my younger son would be able to do it independently - pkg says 6+ yrs. This has been such a great craft for our family during the quarantine. My kids spend between 15-25 min working on their designs (longer if they design something bigger). My 5 yr old quickly got the hang of it and I helped him create his own TMNT design. He is asking for more beads and designs. My older daughter has been making a ton to gift to family and friends. The beads, once they’re fused into a design, look great. I would recommend this Super Mario kit to anyone - adult or child - that loves the Mario franchise. Just a suggestion, as we were new to perler beads, if you have more than 1 child using the kit, get enough pegboards so each child has their own. We didn’t know it would be a hit with our kids and since the kit only came with 1 pegboard, one child had to wait (impatiently) for the other to finish. Luckily I was able to get another perler bead kit from a local person selling theirs within a couple of days. Lastly, please be aware the the pegs on the board are shorter than the beads (as it should be) but if the pegboard gets bumped, the design will spill out. We had quite a few tears when we started out because my kids would accidentally bump the table or move the pegboard too fast. Hope this review helps!

Great perler add-on, not starter

Great set! Great instructions, but I wasn’t expecting only a 1/4 board. I was expecting at least a square board for the perler beads, but it’s small and rounded at the top, basically tapered and so it’s hard to make them on that board. But other than that, they’re great

Love them!

Super cute! Just be aware, unless your child has very good, and I mean excellent fine motor skills, I wouldn’t recommend this for kids under roughly 6 years old. The problem with the little ones is that they will get to the point where every time the get one on they will knock 5 off because the pegs are so close together. Then they either get bored or frustrated and mom ends up doing it herself! Lol. But if you kids had great fine motors skills or is 5-6 and up this is an awesome little kit! The great part is that each project takes some time to do but at the end they walk away with something they can keep! It’s great for a rainy day!

Awesome!

These came out great. You have to use the picture to see where to put the beads so I’m not sure how doable it would be younger kids but I’m sure with adult help they can manage. I just counted and you get the hang of it quickly. It comes with the one tray, one sheet wax paper, and the bucket of beads. Definitely worth it for a decent price.

Good Product...took too long to arrive.

Product was as described. Great product. This was ordered as a Christmas gift, however it didn't arrive until January 8, 2020. I understand that this isn't a fault of the seller nor the product, but this alone is why it isn't a 5 star review.

Awesome for a Mario lover

This is a Christmas gift so I can’t really rate it but it was quick delivery and looks to be exactly as described. I know my son will like this as he has used these for crafts at school
