Be carefull mixing, it stains!

I haven't tried this for fishing yet and may change my review stars but I wanted to warn new buyers that this stuff really stains, I had to use comet cleanser to remove it from my porcelain tile countertop and it left permanent stains on our aluminum strainer and stainless (?) steel measuring spoons even though I cleaning them when they were still wet. Mix this stuff out in the yard! If it works as well as it stains, it will be a SUPER bait enhancer!

Stuff is awesome!

I buy the little tiny cans of corn, put in half a spoonful of this, stir it up, wait 30 mins, drain, and done. I keep it in a little tupperware container in the fridge, make a fresh batch every few weeks. I always have a steady supply of bait. Bluegills and other bream will hit this by itself, but for real fun, use a small worm and top the hook with a piece of corn treated with this. It turns the kernels bright pink, toughens them a bit, and have a flavor fish love.

It does work for panfish

I was able to test this out a few times this summer and I was able to catch crappies and sunfish. It worked better some days than it did others vs Gulp minnows. Over all the Gulp was better but this is a lot cheaper so when the fish were in the mood for pink corn I was happy to feed it to them and save on my Gulp usage.

Seems to work better than just plain corn

I used this to dye some corn for catfish and carp - it does seem to toughen the corn a bit, but not as much as I had hoped. It does impart a bright red color and I'm not sure if it was the dye or just luck, but caught 7 cats and 1 carp in 3 hours. It only takes a small amount to dye a lot corn, so you can probably dye 15 cans with it. Given my recent results, I'll be using it from now on.

Great stuff!

Definitely getting more bites than on basic corn. Can't find shoepeg corn in canada for some reason so I use it on peaches and cream corn for carp, trout, and coarse fish. Works good. Dye eventually comes off tour hands but watch out woth clothing or even plastic. I got some on the bumper of my truck and it's dyed pink lol.

Dye Works Well

I used this to dye some yellow corn which turned it orange as expected, and some cut up shrimp which is a nice shade of pink. Although I haven't had an opportunity to try it out on Kokanee yet I'm happy with the product so far.
