Beautiful lighting
I really liked this light fixture. I bought one from a local home improvement store but it only had 2 lights and I didn't think it looked right but to get another one would have been 3 weeks. I found this on Amazon and it fit perfectly in my farmhouse remodel. And it came in 2 days!

Overall it is a nice light. I would have want the lights to extend away from the wall about 1.25 inch more. There is no installation instruction, just a diagram. If you're not handy with basic tools, I suggest you get some help. You can install this without much experience, but it would likely take you a long time and cause frustration. To install this, I had to paint the area that the original base plate of the previous light was covering. Then the pancake was removed and replaced with a 1/2 inch one and align it so that the light would be hang straight. Took me about 45 minutes, including a trip to Home Depot for this project. I had all the tools needed (screw driver, cordless drill, level). Amazon charges $122 (?) for installation, not including the time and scheduling that is needed to get the "professional" over...it's a no-brainer to install this myself. Just a side note, pricing for this thing was insane: it changed from $104 to $84 to $80 to 100 to 130 within a few weeks. I hate this stupid dynamic pricing that Amazon does.

Get bathroom lighting
We originally found and bought this fixture for our daughter's bathroom from a competitor (won't say which one) for double Amazon's price. When I found these on Amazon for 1/2 the price, I ordered them for the master bathroom and our son's bathroom. Plan to buy another one with just 2 lights for our basement bathroom soon. My husband installed them within an hour including taking down the old, 20-year-old lighting so it's an easy installation job. Can't go wrong with these and they provide lots of light in our bathrooms. Nice contemporary/modern feel with a quaint relaxed touch.

TERRIBLE -- Massive design flaws and defects. ***YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED***
In short, DON'T buy this. It will massively waste your time and likely it will show up defective. I have personally installed at least half a dozen light fixtures and this is by far the worst one I have ever seen. 1) It will probably arrive defective. (The screws on the side (just above the glass) are assembled by phillips-head screws from the *inside* that screw into an ornamental bold on the outside--thus, if it ever comes unscrewed--or arrives unscrewed as it did for me for 2 out of 3 units--it is *impossible* to fix. Literally. The assembly doesn't allow you to take it apart, and there is no way you can tighten from the inside. So even if you actually wanted to fix it you would not be able to.) 2) It is impossible to assemble. (Basically, there are two screws in the front that you would need to put through and thread into a tiny hole in the mounting plate to screw into place. This is actually much worse than it sounds. Basically, imagine trying to do brain surgery with your eyes closed. If the people who designed this had *half* a brain, they would have allowed it to hang on a mount and then insert a screw to hold it in place. But, no, they expect you to screw in TWO screws from an open plate into a tiny hole that you cannot see without any way to guide the screw into the holes. I even used painters tape on the plate to try to prevent the screw going anywhere other than the hole and the best I could get was successfully threading only ONE of the two screws you need to thread. WORSE yet, the screws are actually a screw part and a bolt part. Thus, if you try to unscrew it you might just unscrew the bolt part and then be looking at cylindrical crew sticking out of the wall. Basically, I've carefully thought about it and I PROMISE you that you will want to punch yourself in the face if you even attempt to install one of these.) ANYONE who says this light fixture is not TERRIBLE is probably just randomly mailing it from China to some random address in the U.S. so that they can post a bogus review online. The design and assembly of this light is just unbelievably bad. Save yourself a ton of TIME and buy a well known brand. If you buy this it will absolutely ruin your afternoon. Good Luck!!! ***UPDATE*** I went with the MOEN light fixture INSTEAD--this one is about 1000000 X BETTER!! Yep, I received what I ordered and it works well. The housing for the wiring is pretty small. Much smaller than the previous fixture it replaced. If you are handy, you just have to scrape off any previous paint, lightly sand, prime and carry on.

Nice Looking
I would have put 5 stars but the hardware that came with it is little unthought out by the manufacturer. The plate that attaches to the electrical box doesn't give the freedom to level the fixture. But fixed that by shimming the existing box. And the screws that actually attache the fixture to the plate/box are too short. They could have been a half inch to an inch longer and would have saved a trip to Lowes. But it looks nice and am happy with it. Just seemed like they were trying to save a couple pennies in production which causes a headache.

Looks even better in real life than picture. Satisfyingly heavy. Glass is nice and thick. Feels like it should cost a lot more than it does. Looks really good in our guest bathroom.
