Genuine GE part for my refrigerator. I would not attempt to use a part from a 3rd party, even though this is just a piece of cardboard. Over-priced at that, but that's always the issue for small items that are packaged and shipped individually.

High price to buy minor part

Replaced the hinge that failed while trying to salvage the original shim which lost about 25% of its length. Three months later the hinge failed because it was not perfectly aligned. Had to purchase another hinge. Could have spent some time to fabricate my own shim, but wanted to get the door functioning as soon as possible so bought this part at high price which is only really worth pennies. Also purchased the companion overpriced shim.

Yes, it fits, but it is really overpriced. $15, that is really too expensive for this little shim. I think I can use a plastic to do it myself. I knew the price before I placed the order, so I should not complain; hence 3-star. (Refrigerator Model: GE Profile TFX25PRBB AA)

You could make one yourself

The thickness was half of the original shim. You could probably make your own out of paper and shipping tape.

Part worked

Part arrived on quickly and with no hassles. Part was quite a bit thinner than the shim on the refrigerator and I had to use two stacked together to get close to the height I needed. other than that the part worked as advertised.
