Good product - worth the money
The helmet was very easy to assemble. My wife and I use these on our 30 acres. We've used them for a couple of weeks before writing this review. The hearing protection is better than most individual types worn on their own. I use these not only when felling and bucking but running the chipper as well and they definitely do the job. Have not tried the plastic face shield yet but the screen protector does a good job. I still wear safety glasses since dust and minute wood chips still fly around. I've gotten cluncked in the head several times when putting long branches in the chipper and the helmet has worked very well. Overall, a very wise purchase.

Works great right out of the box
Works fantastic! And for the price you can’t beat it. If I was a professional arborist or landscaper, of course I’d fork over the $300 for a better set up, but for the average dude or dudette this will suffice

Great for framing
I not only use mine for chainsawing, but also for construction framing. The built-in hearing protection along with helmet and safety visor is such a winning combination I wish I had something like this before now!

You need to remove the ear muffs
Ear muffs make the helmet top heavy. Just remove them, one screw each side. Now you have good eye protection.

Nice fit & but 1 ear Protection doesn't move easily
I bought this for when using my chainsaw , it was easy to pi=ut together , but one of the ear protection you are supposed just pull down on it against your ear , but you have to really pull hard , it feels like it may bend the wires to the ear protection that it is attached to

Should have bought this years ago
I do some chainsaw work (the screen is nice - no fogging) but now find myself using this whenever using my chopsaw/skilsaw/tablesaw. One piece of gear - take it from the wall, put it on & you're protected. It is large & orange so I know where it is all the time. I've used Husqvarna's version (which is slightly better) but wish I had bought this earlier instead of "glasses/muffs".

Good value
After the winter of January 2023, with trees down all over the property, chainsawing became our new hobby. Finally decided to get a proper face protector for my husband and me. This fits both of us equally well, is reasonably priced, and does the job.

Proved it's worth with clear face shield
Proved it's worth a few days ago when I cut down an old neglected apple tree. Up to 1.5" branches landed on my head a few times but I walked away scott-free , thanks to this. PROS -CLEAR PLASTIC FACE SHIELD. (Complainers need to remove the packing plastic wrap on BOTH SIDES OF THE SHIELD. Otherwise, it'll be "foggy") Glad i opted for this vs other alternatives that had no shield or had the mesh shield. Keep in mind, your whole face will be exposed and even a 1/2" branch dropped from 10ft above you can do some real damage to your face when it lands on it, cut end first. There was another hat that only included a mesh shield but given its pollen season AND i get dust-sized particles raining down from overhead cuts, i don't think the mesh would've sufficed. -super bright orange: valuable especially if you're working with others--very highly-visible -earmuff act like added side protection. Also helped a bit to compensate for the inferior headstrap lock. CONS -no chin strap: if you're working with trees or others that require you to look up often, this is really needed because it will shift around which becomes annoying. I might take off a star in the future if it proves to be more annoying -INFERIOR HEAD STRAP LOCK: i have a cheaper hard hat which uses a simpler locking mechanism which keeps locked and tight as I set it. This one loosens. The head lock assembly looks like it'll eventually tear the earmuff cushion as it often rubs against each other when taking the hat on and off.

overall good; lighter colour than expected
I got this instead of the Husqvarna to save some money. It works fine and hasn't let me down yet after a few weeks daily chainsaw use (ground work, no climbing). The colour is lighter/more vibrant orange-red than my chainsaw so that makes it look a bit more like a toy, but that's a detail. The earmuffs aren't as good as my dedicated ones but extremely close as long as I take the time to make sure the seal is optimal. I'm perfectly comfortable even after two hours without any adjusting or removing. I've only used the mesh face protection, but the plexiglass version looks good for splashy line trimming wet grass. Mesh is great but doesn't replace eye protection; I still got wood chips in my eye despite the face mask. Overall looks sturdy and serious, not cheap looking, except maybe for the colour. Came in a real branded box with assembly instructions. Ordered with international Prime to Australia; it took a long time because it was out of stock.

Good as the 'brand names' for much less money
Really impressed with this helmet, the quality is just as good as the brand name helmets but at a much lower price. Assembly was pretty straightforward, although figuring out how the face shield attached took a few minutes. Other than that, every clipped together easily, the materials are top notch, the headband is adjustable and sturdy (and made of soft/flexible plastic that doesn't dig into your head), and I really like that they include both a clear face shield and a mesh one. The ear protectors are well padded and comfortable, and use steel wires instead of plastic brackets (which tend to snap), plus they can be moved out of the way onto the back of the helmet when you're not using them which is GREAT. Overall, hard to beat this helmet for the price.

Almost perfect.
This is the best value for your money. Here are the pros and cons: The Pros: The plastic used for the helmet is of good quality, feels solid. The ear pads are adjustable and comfortable. The polycarbonate visor is very clear and larger than other competitors so it wraps around nicely to protect your face. Be sure to peel off the protective film on both sides of the plastic visor or it will look blurry. The metal mesh (not my favourite) is wider than other competitors and is of a close screen that will stop stones and some sand from hitting your face. The system is very easy to put together, is adjustable and comfortable. Mine came in Orange colour. The Cons: Some fine sand did get through the the fine metal mesh while doing lawn edging by the side walk so I switched to the plastic which is my first preference. When the plastic visor gets scuffed I will replace it, right now they are out of stock on Amazon. This is a great buy worth more than it’s price. Yes I would recommended it.
