It looks good and feels good.

Many "duty belts" cost nearly 50 dollars. This Galati is closer to 10 (mine cost $13.04). If you asked me what more I get from the $50 belts, I can't tell you what in them justifies the extreme increase over the Galati. The first thing that impressed me about it, is that the Galati is not flimsy or cheap. It's very sturdy, stiff, and with Velcro backing that allows it to be adjusted firmly. It looks nice, and it feels and is SECURE. It can carry a lot of weight without sagging, so it's perfect for a holster and accessories. Adjustments are easy, and it can accommodate a large waist--I'm sure it could handle the 55 inches as advertised. It looks good and feels good--a bargain for the price!

DUTY BELT

I am not in law enforcement, I use this belt as my shooting belt. I carry my Smith and Wesson M&P 40 fully loaded as well as 3 spare mags with ease. This belt is 2 inches wide, it is not made to hold up pants and will not fit through belt loops. It is made to support weight on your hips and does a fine job for what i require. If i was using this for more serious duty i would want a stronger belt clasp. However the one on this belt has never failed me. I am very happy with it and would recommend for light shooting use.

It's a pretty comfortable duty belt

I recently switched this to my duty belt for my tactical rig. It's easy to use and to configure and has plenty of length for the bigger boys, but can adjust to fit smaller waists like mine. Since switching, I have not had any chaffing issues with this belt, even though I wear quite a bit of gear on it.

ABSOLUTE MUST BUY! MUST HAVE!

Got this belt recently to hang my speed-loaders and big 44 Mag. I LOVE THIS BELT. Construction is of good strong material. The clasps are strong plastic and if they ever break you can go down to the Army Surplus store and find the buckles. It doesn't pull at the waist line because it is made of the heavy strong material that holds it shape so it hangs evenly along your midsection. I am a militia man and I use it in my weekly training. I have suggested it to all of the members enlisted and officer ranks in my unit.

What was thinking.

To begin with the gear belt does not like to be folded to size at the clip. Also it would nice to say something about the width. I am too lazy to return it.
