Missing parts

Was opening my package and noticed it only came with one roller when it clesrly says pack of 2 roller sets. Sad sad.

Decent replacement rollers, but plastic housing can easily crack if windows jump in track.

I got these rollers (two per package) to replace cracked ones on old aluminum Krestmark sliding windows. The problem is that the plastic Krestmark originals, as well as these plastic replacements tend to crack if you "bounce" the windows at all in the track when opening them - they can stick when closed. To avoid this, keep the track and these rollers lubricated with WD-40 or a silicone spray lubricant, and don't jerk on the windows. Use one hand to pull and the other against the other side of the frame to keep it from bouncing, and slowly pull them along the track. If they made the roller frame out of metal, this wouldn't be a problem. One more note, on some windows it may be too hard to fit the plastic roller frame in the window channel, so you may have to carefully use a wood rasp, file, or coarse sanpaper to file the sides of the plastic narrower to fit in the channel. Also before removing the old rollers, look at the orientation, to make sure to put the new rollers in the same direction (not flipped 180 degrees).

A perfect roller replacement for a sliding widow

This roller assembly was an identical replacement for my 30 year old sliding windows. Windows now work like new. My windows are Krestmark brand windows. I was delighted to find this widow piece part.

One example of a penny pincher on Amazon!

So I bought this sliding roller set cheap($1) on Amazon. I guess It was an open return previously and I just want to test the fit before I splash out on 5 packets at $7 a piece. Opened the amazon box, right packaging with the wrong product inside! There really are some cheap people out their! I can't be bothered with the return. I just find it amazing what people do to get stuff on the cheap and how it affects people down the line. I do not blame Amazon???? Update: the last photo is what it should have been!

It solved my issue

Received it. It fit. Window slides easily now. Will probably by more for other windows. The Amazon envelope it came in was way too big.

great replacement

fit in great, had to sand a little off the edges but might be because the windows were old. perfect replacement and alot less than anybody else. definitely put new life into the windows

Could not find these anywhere but here on Amazon. Needed replacements for 30+ windows. The plastic breaks apart over-time, which is expected. When they are new they work extremely well. Make sure to lubricate the track a few times per year. Wish I could find something more durable in the same size.
