Not sure how I feel about these hollow handles..

These are adorable, vintage looking Santa mugs. I plan on using them in a Christmas display. If I were using these for enjoying drinks, the hollow handles might be a problem. I would be concerned about cleaning them well.

Glazing on 1 mug cracked and fell off

These are beautiful mugs! I've ordered a total of 4 sets (one set in late November 2020 and 3 in November 2021). I've given 3 sets away as gifts. The final set (also a gift) just arrived and unfortunately the glaze on one of the mugs was cracked and fell off. Enclosed in the packaging was a gmail address where I could contact HomeStar Gifts to hopefully rectify this problem without sending the set back. I"ll provide an update when this is rectified. UPDATE 12/7/21 - Cosmos Gifts responded very quickly to my message and they sent a replacement mug - it is perfect! My bad - as I re-looked at the other 3 original mugs I found a small chip (which is rough and lacks glaze) in the brim of Santa's hat. I re-messaged the company stating it was my mistake for not scrutinizing each item and I've yet to hear back. I'd be completely satisfied if I could send back both the damaged mugs and they could send another replacement. Have not heard anything, it's been a few days:(. UPDATE 12/18/2021 - I received the 2nd replacement mug, it's perfect. This gift is now all set to wrap and give! Homestar Gifts provided excellent customer service and because of that I've changed my rating to 5 stars! These mugs are absolutely beautiful and the company backs up their merchandise! I'll definitely purchase them again!

Nostalgia at its best

When my siblings and I were kids, we all had a Santa mug that looked almost exactly like these. Decades passed, and over time, through the many times being washed, the mug ended up being all white. When our parents died, I'm fairly sure they were donated, when we cleaned out the house. Enter this seller, who reinvigorated the memories of childhood. I gave one to each sibling this year, along with other goodies to go with it. One of my brothers asked if I'd repainted our old mugs. Everyone was really touched by the gift - including me. My first glance at that mug brought so many truly happy childhood memories back and missing Mom & Dad as much as I do... well... I was glad I'd gotten 4 just for me. At 50+ none of us needed "another mug" but you know... sometimes it matters more what the meaning is behind the gift, than whether or not you need to clear a little cabinet space :) The box came in like Fort Knox, so no worries about breakage. Seriously I was at it with scissors for a long time, but it was so worth the wait.
