Easy to use but could be stickier

I bought these to put around the door frame of my closet which unfortunately is located right in front of my kitchen. My clothes have started to smell like last night's dinner so I am hoping that insulating thencloset by closing the gaps around the door frame will fix the issue. It has been almost a week since I installed it and I noticed it has helped a bit already with the smell. I also bought a different product to seal the gap under the door. This product was easy to install. I did wipe the wood frame first with some alcohol wipes and let it dry before I placed the strips on. Good value overall. Only con is that I wish they were stickier. A piece at the very bottom of the door jeeps wanting to come apart...I keep applying pressure so hopefully it will stay on for a few months at least.

Used it to seal front door didn't stick too well in cold weather. I imagine if I used it in warmer weather it would have stuck better. Will try it again this summer, see if it works better.

Good product

This product was easy for a mature woman to use. But I didn't pay attention to length. I needed to order another roll to cover my door frame. Not attractive- but a good seal around my back door. That is what I needed and what I wanted to purchase. I would buy this product again but try and smaller diameter.

Does not adhere well

I'm very disappointed in this product. The adhesive was very weak. I had to reinforce it with double sided tape.

This is more like memory foam

This stuff is ok but I would have preferred it to be more resilient. I used it on a section of a truck bed cover. One piece of the gasket material had come off. I just got the cover back onto the truck bed so will see how well it works and holds up over time.

Bought this for my front and back doors. Didn't last very long and didn't stick very well.

The adhesive didn't seem to stick for very long. I believe it lasted about 2 weeks.

Nice and thick

I used this on a winter dog door insert for our sliding glass door on both sides of it. It has made the side that connects with the sliding glass door so much less drafty. Cut our heating bill and our need to bundle up in our own home significantly. It sticks well and is just what was needed.

Duck Brand Self Adhesive Foam Weatherstrip Seal

Yes, I had to return other, but this is how tape should work. Great !!! Easy to work with !!!

If it blocks light it probably also blocks air

Bought foam weatherstrip for small gaps to seal the space around my darkroom door (that just happens to also be my bathroom). I should have got the medium gap as my door is significantly more warped than I thought but placing multiple strips side by side worked well enough. The adhesive is quite tacky but gives you enough wiggle for positioning. We'll see how it stands up to wear as there are a few spots where the door rubs against it while opening and closing, not to mention the steam of my shower. Taped a sheet of enlarging paper up on the wall opposite of the closed door for 20 minutes and it exhibited no noticeable fogging so its pretty good at blocking light. Nice to be able to use my darkroom during the day.

Muy buen producto

Este producto lo utilice para sellar la rendija que había en las ventanas y lo hace excelente, sella en gran parte el ruido exterior que entraba por ahí. Muy recomendable.

No es duradero

No me sirvió, lo usé para ventanas corredizas de aluminio. A pesar de ser fácil de instalar, resultó ser más grueso de lo que era el espacio. Y se rompió fácilmente después de abrir y cerrar las ventanas un par de veces. Solo es apto para los casos en que quedará a compresión.
