1. I own a Craftsman 42" lawn tractor - this is the drive belt that spins the two outside blades of the mowing deck. 2. I spent the extra money to buy this belt after getting frustrated buying cheaper belts that shred apart soon after install under normal use. My lawn tractor is well maintained; undamaged; and the pulleys are in alignment. 3. So far I've cut my one acre yard 4 times and this belt is hanging in there with no wear & no excessive heat build-up when I touch it.. I installed new blades for the upcoming season and detect no belt slipping when I get into the thick tuffs of new Spring grass. 4. Will update this posting later in the cutting season.

Direct replacement for a Craftsman lawn tractor. No issues. Check under the hood of the Craftsman lawn tractor to see if the part number is listed there.

Perfect Fit for my Craftsman 42" riding mower Don't go with the cheaper knock off...all reviews state it breaks quickly. This one much better quality.

NOT Husqvarna

Only two stars for now, due to Amazon specifically listing as 'by Husqvarna', however actually made by A&I Products from CC Distributors. Should have been wary of significantly lower price. Seems to be reasonable quality though, similar to previously purchased original belt. Have not installed yet, and will update review at that time.Fingers crossed.
