Love the colors!

Our school colors are red and gray. Most things come in red and black, so we always love when we find red, white and GRAY products. Pro: -Bright colors -Elastic AND drawstring waist -Inside layer for modesty Cons: -Elastic around the top of thigh on the inside layer is a little tighter than on other brands. It’s not hurting or pinching, but annoying. -A little shorter than other brands

Great overall, especially for the price!

It's pretty much impossible to find a bad pair of Soffe shorts. These are no exception. They're perfect, fit perfectly, and serve whatever purpose needed, whether you want some shorts to lounge in, something comfy to travel in during the summer, a pair to work out in, or if you need a pair of shorts to train in that will be comfy but also super cute and functional. They are half the price of Nike shorts or Under Armour but just as functional, stylish, and cute. I have these in the black and love them so much I'm definitely planning on ordering a few more! I got a medium but could've worked with a small. The medium still fits, they're just a little looser than I usually wear, but some people might prefer a looser fit depending on what you want them for. Either way, great shorts for the price! I wish there was more variety in terms of color choices for the smaller sizes, pretty much only had 4 or 5 choices out of like 10 or 15 but not a huge deal.

Surprised by the built in underwear, but very nice pair of athletic shorts

I wore out my last pair of Soffe shorts years ago when I was in high school and finally decided to re-buy a pair for athletic purposes, even though now I'm in my 20s. The material is fabulous and holds up well with washes, even after getting extremely dirty. The mesh makes the shorts comfortable and breathable. These shorts literally will last for years. I did not, however, expect this pair of Soffe shorts to have built in underwear. My last pair did not and was in similar style, and I was a bit surprised when I saw it this time around. I guess it's not too big of an issue, but I find it kind of unnecessary. I am 5'2" and about 103 lbs. I usually am an XS but I ordered an S (simply because I'm cheap and for some reason the XS size was like double the price). The S fits perfectly fine on me, which is nice. I would recommend ordering a size down if buying for youths. For women, I think it's fine to stick with your original size, unless you're between sizes. Then go a size down since the elastic is quite stretchy and these are very flexible shorts.

I would buy again

Quality: great, especially for the price. Not cheapie looking. Looks like Nike or some other athletic short brand. It has BUILT IN UNDERWEAR LINING. I capped that bc most people may not realize that. It was a surprise to me. You can easily cut it out if it's not your thing. I'm wearing it with the lining by itself and its super comfortable! Size: get your normal size. Don't size down. If you're in between sizes: it wouldn't hurt going with either, bigger size if you're curvier and smaller size if you don't really have curves. I'm 5'4" 115-120 pounds / size 2 / generous round tushy. I got a small (normal size). Length was good, which usually can be an issue bc of my behind. Not too short or long. There's still room in the butt area. So if you don't have much back then it may be saggy on you. Pro: great buy for the price Con: bought two of these shorts in different colors. One of the shorts is missing the drawstring, even though it has the holes for it. That's why I gave it 4 stars. I will buy these again in more colors.

Great quality, very flattering, at an amazing value.

The quality and fit of these shorts is a pleasant surprise. As with a lot of people at home at the moment, I'm trying to take advantage of using this time to be more active. I really don't like wearing shorts, but wanted to feel comfortable in the heat. I'm 5'6", and wear a size 6-8. I purchased mediums and larges. The photo showcases the size large, which has some room, and I don't mind that, as they also have a drawstring. The the cut is extremely flattering, and the underwear lining is definitely a plus. I have three more pairs arriving, and I highly recommend them.

Okay shorts for the price

The good: - price - built in brief - dont ride up when running The bad: - unflattering on my body shape (pear, wide hips) - too low rise (I have a mom pooch, so these cut in at a terrible spot on me) Ultimately, I'm keeping them and I'll wear them because I don't care how unflattering my running shorts are. But if you're looking for stylish shorts, I think you can do better.

Great fit!

I am 37 years old 5’2 around 120 lbs. I was worried they would be too big because others said they fit larger but worried the X-small may be too small to wear. I ordered the Small thinking I could at least wear them to sleep if they fit too big. They fit just right with enough room to move comfortably in without sticking to the quad while running and working out. They don’t slide down or ride up because of the liner inside that holds them in place. I am very happy with them and have ordered several more pairs!

They fit as expected, are cute, and must be comfy!

Got this pair for my teen, though she hadn't asked for them. Not our favorite colors (limited color choices when I ordered) just b/c they are colors of a nearby college so people will assume she's wearing them for the college, but she wears them a lot at home, so they must be comfy!

Im 5 ft 1, 130 pounds, I ordered a large and for me its perfect. I have large hips and a tummy so anything low rise is usually uncomfortable unless I size up. The shorts are really cute, true to picture. Some threads are loose but overall they are well made
