I love these, but was let down

Exactly as they appear in the picture. These boots are a better quality than the other unlined, duck style sorels. I had to order online and you never know how something will feel, and when I was in a shoe store recently I was very scared by the feel of the other similar sorel styles but these are great in comparison. The style is nice, the leather seems to be of a good quality. I can slip them on and off, which is exactly what I was looking for. I will likely wear this almost every day for the next two seasons. I put my own inserts in them so I can't say anything about arch support. There isn't much in between your foot and the ground so I imagine in the middle of winter these might be very cold. I bought my size, 5.5, and they fit perfectly snug. If you want room for really thick socks I would suggest ordering a half size up. The reason I am not super pleased is that after wearing these for three days, the tab on the back which you are supposed to use to pull them on over your heel broke off. It is supposed to be a sturdy part of the shoe that is expected to be tugged on and stressed, so that was quite a let down. I could have exchanged but I needed these right away. I still might.

I don't even know if a size 6 would be much better, so I don't know what size to try

I normally wear a size 5, but the reviews suggested ordering a half size up, so I did. This pair was still so small I couldn't even get my foot in it. I don't even know if a size 6 would be much better, so I don't know what size to try, and am returning.

la sensazione che trasmette la foto è di uno scarponcino robusto e ben strutturato, ma nella pratica è molto leggero ma comunque funzionale alle piogge. la calzata risulta fastidiosa sopra la caviglia dove termina la scarpa perché non rifinita per ammortizzare gli attriti della scarpa sullo stinco. al momento quindi positivo giudizio, Amazon una garanzia, il prodotto l'ho reso per cambio numero ed il servizio impeccabile
