Survived an international move

These were awesome. I ordered 10 of these (some directly from the Samsonite website as well since they were having a sale at the time), used cardboard to keep the sides up, and loaded them up with ~50 lbs worth of stuff. We did end up having to make one bag heavier, so we paid for an overweight bag... and guess what? These arrived safe and sound on the other side after all the manhandling I'm sure they received in the airport. I stuffed these bags with books, shoes, and in some cases, utensils and the like. I was afraid stuff would poke through, so I made sure to cushion things and wrap sharper objects as much as possible with blankets and coats. I only noticed one tiny, tiny tear on a bag and that was likely from someone manhandling it in the airport, maybe it caught on something, etc. The 9 other bags were 100% intact. Yay!

Great Extra Travel Bag

I packed this in our carryon to Hawaii and brought back all my Costco food souvenirs in it without a problem (I did place one of those Costco boxes at checkout to protect my goodies since the bag has no structure). I put a tsa lock on it and it made it home just fine. Fits a lot of stuff!

Great for moving

I loved the fact that I was able to put a lot of my clothes on the hangers inside this bag and just unload to hang up in the closet. I travel for work and relocating my stuff can be a hit or miss. This bag was great.

Great lightweight bag!

This bag is great! Used it to fit a 65L backpacking bag in and i could not only fit that but also many other things! It’s sturdy and did well traveling across the world in. Would recommend!

Bag is defective

Opened this bag for the first time today to pack for our move to china. On inspection after only starting to pack we noticed that the the seams on the bag are coming away without any use. Have tried to find a contact for the bag but have been unable to do so. We did not check the bag so have missed the deadline for returns as I have had these bags before and did not expect these problems. This has left us having to scramble for a new suitcase on little notice.

Supplied to spec, but thin plastic material with no lining is a possible weakness

I purchased this bag to carry my metal conductor stand as the dimensions were exactly right and it is the only bag that is the right size I could find on the market. However I found the plastic fabric quite thin and there is no inner lining, so as a precaution, I have to wrap the metal components of my disassembled stand in a blanket to avoid edges tearing the fabric of the bag. Given that it is advertised as 'Duffle Bag', it's possibly not intended to transport this kind of gear. So far it has proved robust, but I will report issues should they arise.
