Very Elegant Shelf for the Bathroom

This shelf has added so much elegance to my bathroom remodel. The glass is made well, very thick. And the brackets that hold it are very nicely chromed. The provided anchors are pretty easy to install but there are no stencils to help measure their position accurately, so, you need to be very precise on drilling. If you can mount them to a stud, this would help with their sturdiness. Highly recommend for the money. I was initially looking at shelfs that cost a $100 or more...this one looks better than any of those.

Nice shelf, able to adjust wall bracket spacing in order to hit studs

Good to be able to adjust wall brackets so could hit studs. However, screws provided are #6 (thin). If you use them and want to embed them in the studs, you will need to pre-drill guide holes first or the screws might sheer off. Alternatively, ream out the holes in the wall pates to accept your own #8 screws. Very sturdy now, looks great and just the right size for a coffee mug shelf next to the toilet!

Sturdy but a little tricky to mount

Just be aware that if you use the middle hole on the wall bracket, it won’t mount flush because thw head of the screw will be in the way. Use a different hole to mount bracket to the wall

High quality bath shelf

Well made and very attractive. The shelf has held up well and it has not shown any rust like some lower quality items will when installed in a damp environment.

Nice shelf. Idiotic supplied hardware.

Very nice shelf. Installation is not great though. If you use the supplied hardware, it will never sit flush to the wall - the bracket has to stay perfectly flush with the wall, but because the supplied anchors are metal, they will never do. I ended up using plastic anchors and was able to have the holding bracket installed correctly.

Excellent quality. Very well made, attractive and relatively easy to install. If you're drilling into tile--porcelain or ceramic--get yourself a diamond hole saw. It will take some time if it's porcelain but it's the best tool for the job.

Can't be installed in a shower :o(

Nice product, but can't be installed inside the shower as Gatco wrote it to me when I contacted them about another product : "We do not recommend for this item or the glass shelf to be mounted inside the shower because it will rust. Items are only meant to be outside the shower."
