Best tool bag
I gave this to my fiancé as a gift for Christmas. It’s a really nice bag, durable with a lot of of space and compartments. Everything fit in the bag so nicely and there’s still room!

Great for Handy Dandy Tool Dads
I originally got this for my dad for Christmas, and wanted to wait a few months to write a review. For context, my dad has worked in plumbing, pipe fitting, and carpentry for as long as he could hold down a job, and in over the 30+ years he’s worked, I’ve never heard him say anything as positive as he has about this bag. Plenty of pockets for all of his tools and work equipment, and deep and sturdy enough for all of his drills and saws. The straps are also sturdy and comfortable enough for every day use. Overall, I definitely recommend this to anyone searching for a tool bag for themselves or for someone else. Maybe a little pricey, but definitely worth it in the long haul.

Solid product
This bag is great, I bought it to use as a range bag because anything marketed specifically as a range bag seems to have a huge premium even though it’s basically just a tool bag. There’s plenty of space for ammo, mags, ear/eye pro, gloves etc and it’s got a rigid base that keeps everything from taco-ing together when the bag is lifted. Perfect. Good price, solid construction.

Best carpenter bag
The media could not be loaded. This bag is solid! I’m a finish carpenter for cabinets and this holds everything I need and more. It’s durable and the pockets help me stay organized. I like it better than any bag I’ve ever owned. Love carhartt quality ????

Great bag, durable, lots of pockets
I really like this bag. It's just the right size for a drill and most basic tools for general home maintenance. Good quality stitching and materials. Lots of pockets inside and out. The way it folds does mean that if you put long things like screwdrivers and wrenches in the pockets, you won't be able to fill the interior since those tools will take up the space in the top as they angle when closed. But it's perfect for me since when I open it, the tools I use most are sticking up right there.

My husband, a 5th Gen. Master Carpenter, is jealous of my bag.
I'm a painter but help with major remodels with my husband. Currently in my bag: Makita Impact+2 batteries, 2 hammers, 2 squares, a 16 and a 25 tape, a laser tape, Neosporin, 2 electrical tape, 1 painters tape, 1 loaded caulk gun, 8 paint brushes, small can of Crawford's, 6 pencils, 5 sharpie's, a cell phone charger, wood glue, bit box, Band-Aids, gloves (work and nitrile), jar of Skippy (lol), 2 pr. knipex, a mallet, a small level, a 6in portable led light, bottle of Tylenol, a nail punch, small vice grips, 3 clean rags, 2 pair of DeWalt dikes, Irwin cutters, needle nose pliers, and 1 glass cutter. The sides collapse in. That's a fact. But I'd still buy it. The hard bottom has already come in handy 4 times and I've only had the bag one month. Those Makita batteries run up to $150/battery and batteries don't like water so the hard bottom is awesome. We don't play around with our tools. They are our livelihood. Buy the bag.

Tank of a bag!
I’m taking a 2 year HVACR program and it was time for us to start buying our tools. I came to Amazon and types in “portable tool bags”. I wasn’t impressed with what I had seen until I scrolled and saw this bad. Right away I knew this was the one I wanted, then I read the reviews and realized it was very well reviewed. The price was a bit of a put off an a bit out of my price range so I didn’t make the purchase right away and shopped around. I ended up coming back to this one as the other options didn’t appeal much to me. I figured what’s an extra $40-$50 for a bag that will most likely last you the next 2 years of schooling then still be good when I start my career working in the field. I received the bag yesterday and before opening the box I seriously thought they shipped me 2 of them by accident. That brings me to my first point, this is a heavy bag, no question about it. If you carry this bag full of everyday work tools you will need lots of strength and endurance, especially if you commute. The weight however is a small sacrifice when you examine the hard rubber bottom of the bag. I have no worries about resting this bag down anywhere at all. On oily, dusty or wet floors, you name it. Feels like having safety shoes on the bottom of your bag. The rubber bottom also helps to keep the top of the bag open very when when you need to look for tools inside. I read lots of complaints about buyers saying the bag was too deep.....really? If I wanted a shallow bag to carry everyday tools maybe I’d go buy a handbag and put a purse in it. As a tool bag I absolutely love how deep this bag is. As someone who commutes to school, I’m able to easily fit all the tools I need in it, a flask for my coffee, and a change of clothes. The material is also very tough. I expect this bag to last a very long time and be a trust worthy tool carrier as I advance in my career.

Le sac parfait. Dimensions parfaites pour moi. Solidité et robustesse parfaites. Matériel d'une très grande qualité et, conséquemment, cet objet durera longtemps et pourra probablement servir aux enfants de mes petits-enfants !... J'ai trouvé cet excellent sac après avoir cherché longtemps en comparant surtout la qualité des matières et les dimensions de l'ensemble. Sur la photo, on peut voir une perceuse-visseuse, son chargeur et une batterie supplémentaire, un coffret de mèches et d'embouts de tournevis de 34,3 x 23,5 cm (13 1/4 x 9 1/4 po) et un autre coffret de vis diverses de 31,7 x 25,4 cm (12 1/2 x 10 po). Il y a aussi, qu'on ne voit pas nécessairement, plusieurs autres outils dans les pochettes intérieures et d'autres à l'extérieur. Le sac referme très bien sans forcer. Je le répète, c'est le sac parfait !..

Hard-bottom bag. Decent quality. The shoulder strap is the weak point.
Update April 2023: I've used this for a few years now and I've really come to like it. The issue with the base that I though of as a flaw doesn't seem to have been a problem. The only con I've found is the shoulder strap: I wound up replacing it with a more padded and stronger one. The strap seems to be the only part cheaped out on on this tool bag, but fortunately the strap can be replaced. Great bag overall. I got the hard bottomed version. I like the pockets. The overall quality of the bag seems good. One design flaw: The hard bottom is not sealed where it ends at the soft sides of the bag. I use my bag outside so rain is a reality where I am. Water can get trapped inside the hard bottom of the bag if used in the rain because there are no drainage holes in the hard bottom. A simple fix would be to have drainage holes integrated into the hard bottom. If the manufacturer did this this bag would be 5 stars. I may not have gotten the hard bottomed bag had I been aware of this. If this is not an issue for you then this may be the tool bag for you.

Spacious and Easy to Organize (for a dog trainer)
I actually purchased this bag to use as a "dog bag". I am a dog trainer and benefit from a durable bag that has handles and shoulder strap if my hands are full. The ability to organize training toys, treats, water bottle, clip board, grooming tools etc. is much appreciated. A bag that I can feel confident putting down in wet grass, dirt etc is another feature that I enjoy. This bag has an easy to use zipper and a wide mouth opening that stays open allowing me to view and access items from the bag without it folding up on me.

Perfect bag
I'm an appliance installer and have uses this bag every work day for about a month now. The molded base is wonderful and the interior is very spacious. I can fit all my tools in it (Impact, batteries, knee pads, bit case, various hand drivers and hand tools etc) with complete ease and everything remains accessible. High quality and comfortable strap. You can't go wrong with this bag.
