Great for hanging, just OK as luggage.
This bag works well as a cover for clothes hanging on a rail. You can put the hangers through the top of the zipper and it works well to protect them. I use mine to hold about a weeks worth of shirts and pants and there is probably enough space to hold another week. However, if you plan to transport clothes by putting the hangers through the internal loops and then carrying it by the fabric handle, then I would look elsewhere. The bag sags so badly when you do this that standard men's shirts get crumpled at the bottom. If you try to fold the bag over to make it half sized (as show in the product photos) then the cloths just become a wrinkled ball. There are better transport bags available, but none that compete with the $22 price of this. If it were more expensive I would give it 3 stars, but at this price it earns 4.

Excellent Bag!!!
At first I was using this for 3-4 light hanging garments for road trips... But... it’s so durable and sturdy, I’m now using it for so much more! Most recently I filled it up with six different outfits for day and night on a long weekend. I also put a denim jacket and two pairs of shoes in the bottom part too. It’s holding up amazingly well! The bag itself is lightweight and this makes it so easy to carry. I’m also able to lay it down in the back of my trunk to keep my outfits flat. I’m extremely happy with this product and highly recommend it.

No smell! Good quality for the price
Was worried about all the recent reviews about a fish smell, but it arrived in great condition with NO SMELL. There must have been a bad batch, but the issue seems to be corrected. The quality and size of the bag are nice. Seems like durable fabric for the price. There is an opening at the top for hangers, or you can hang them from the inner loops, so it is nice to have versatile options. Would have given 5 stars, but it came poorly folded in a small box, so it is quite wrinkled. Seems ironic to have to steam or iron the bag that I ordered to prevent my clothes from wrinkling.

Lightweight garment bag that is pretty well-made.
This AmazonBasics garment bag is a bit thinner than we had hoped, but it should do the job for light travel, both on the ground and in the air. My wife needed it to travel with Air Force uniforms for conferences, and it fits them fine. The construction is pretty good, but not of the quality found on garment bags that cost as much as ten times more. That's to be expected. Nonetheless, this garment bag will suffice for her immediate needs while travel requirements are sporadic rather than frequent. Four Stars and a cautious recommendation if your needs are similar.

Looks like it should work and last
I will be using it sparingly as I am now retired but it looks like it should work and last for me. I have not traveled with it but I bought it because I found out I need to have one, again, it has been years since I have used this style. Looks like it should be used for carry on and not multi trips as a check in piece of luggage. Good zipper, heavier woven cordrua style syn. canvas material on the outside and edges. A lighter woven material on the inside {when folded].. Edge side is 3 inches, strong handles on both ends that are held together by wrapping a piece of material that has velcro on it. Place for a biz card on the inside. Good value for me.

Good for Occasional Use; Light Weight
I needed garment bags for my teenaged sons to carry their dress clothes on an aircraft to their sister's wedding out of state, so I bought 2 of these. These were sufficient to hold a suit, blazer, 2 dress shirts and slacks for the two days of festivities. They did have to carry their shoes, toiletries and other items in a duffel bag. My sons did note that this garment bag wasn't really long enough for their clothing, since both are 6'5" tall, and therefore their suit jackets are really long, however, since the clothes were carefully packed for only a few hours, they weren't wrinkled. This bag would not have held any more than the boys crammed into them, and the vinyl shell isn't terribly sturdy, but they served their purpose, and were worth the $20 price tag. If they were going to use these more often, I would have searched for something heavier. The plus to the thin vinyl is that the bags didn't weigh as much as the larger one (with wheels) which I bought to carry formalwear for my husband and myself. A good choice when you don't need a garment bag often.

Had a much cheaper one from here that was “ok” …but the little bit more money for this one seems like it will go a long way in terms of durability.

Great Quality and Cheap
Great Quality and can handle alot of hangers (around 3). There are three loops within the carrier for the hangers which is great, the material seems to be fairly strong. The suit carrier also has a small hole/hook where i can hang the carrier up on the wall with a small hook.

A Very useful garment bag at a very good price
We had a four day break visiting family and friends and took a medium size case and two garment bags. That way our clothes were not creased and ready to wear. Very very useful.

this cover does the job adequately however I wouldn't use it traveling unless it was with us in the car boot. Not suitable for cruise or flight travel
