Lasted from Jan/24 until Mar/3rd
Very comfortable, great insulation, good dexterity, overall they held up well working 50hr work weeks at a TIG shop. Would like to have another month out of them if the small hole in my left pointer finger doesn’t get bigger. I would like to get another pair but it’s hard to beat the free Tillmanns provided by the shop.

Excellent Tig Gloves.
Very happy with these gloves so I'm buying another set. Purchased the original set about 5 years back when I bought a Miller Diversion 180 for hobby use. I can't say how well these will hold up if you weld for a living but they have been great for my use. They are TIG gloves, so don't expect them to last forever if you're using them for operations other than welding (cutting/grinding/fitting/etc...). I tried to switch between these and another pair of gloves during a project to try to keep them dedicated to weld time. Still would end up making cuts & grinds & prep while wearing these, so all things considered I am very happy with them. They have a snug fit and require a little break-in time before you get the ease of motion. They have a great feel and are real comfortable once the leather is broken in. The fingertips will shrink and get hard over time if you're not careful about your arc, but I think thats all leather. I eventually wore through the thumb and a fingertip from usage, handling hot parts, & sharpening hot tungsten. Overall I'm very pleased with the life I got out of the old pair and expect to get the same from these new ones. See my pics for the old vs new. I think the cuff may be a little longer on the new pair, but otherwise they look to have same pattern & materials.

This is a great TIG glove for the price. Doubles as a work glove. Comfortable for all-day wearing.
These are great TIG welding gloves for the money. You can get nicer ones, but if you don't want to spend $30 a pair, these are an awesome compromise. The pinky side has a double layer of leather, as that's where you are going to bake your hand as you drag it across your base material. The leather is holding up well, and has good insulative properties. However, these should be for TIG, and maybe MIG welding only. I would not do any Arc (stick), as that will be too hot for these gloves to handle. One nice thing is, these really double as work gloves. They have the right look, and they are short and flexible with some breathability that full leather TIG gloves do not. I do suggest that you pair these with some arm protectors such asLincoln Electric Black One Size Flame-Resistant Welding Sleeves . That will keep you from getting a sunburn (arc burn), or trying to find a long-sleeved tee-shirt every day.

These are not bad gloves. Originally got them back in 2013 because my welding instructor recommended that we use tig gloves to do oxy-acetylene welding. They are too thin to resist all the heat coming off of the metal and from the flames of the torch so I just used some medium duty stick welding gloves instead. Even when I actually tig welded, the heat would still get to the point where it was unbearable to keep going without getting another filler rod. If you want these to last for a while, don't handle metal with sharp edges too much. It slices right through the gloves.

Comfortable Gloves
I ordered these for my husband who just started a new job TIG'ing a few weeks ago. He's been a welder for 25 years but never TIG'd before. The old gloves he used for MIG and stick just weren't cutting it; too bulky. He tried a couple other TIG gloves (to remain nameless) and he says these by far are the best based on comfort. The inseams on the others were cutting into him by the end of his shift. These gloves are snug so he has great dexterity and the inseam is soft and small. The final test will be to see how long they'll hold up 12 hrs a day, 6 days a week but he says even if they only last a month, it's worth it to him. He is getting a back up pair already.

Very good for small welding projects
The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because I had 1 piece of slag burn through and burnt the top of my hand. Other than that the fit great, have very good dexterity and comfortable. Don't buy these if you need to pick up or move your hot work right away, you will need a heavier duty glove. They work perfect for my small welding projects.

I have slender hands for a man and the large size fits me snug, which is what I was hoping for. The gloves do allow for better dexterity, but at the cost of less heat protection. I find I need to stop more often, otherwise the heat really comes through the gloves. One other minor thing, but the inner lining, a fuzzy orange material, seemed to rub off on my welding jacket the first couple uses - minor, but annoying.

Excellent TIG gloves
I needed replacement TIG gloves. The ones I've been using are more suited for stick or MIG welding and were too bulky for TIG welding. I searched around and found these gloves. I read the reviews and decided to purchase these, glad I did! They are light weight, yet well constructed. I have the precise control now when feeding my filler rod, plus I can control the torch much better with these gloves.
