What to know when considering tribal pull on skirt

First, what struck me was the fabric weight.. It is very light weight for hot summer days when you want to feel not a lot of fabric. My initial concern was that the fabric weight would prevent the pockets from holding golf balls and other items without tugging at the waist.. this did not happen and the skirt held up well to a round of golf. There is no support with the structure once the material is on so I urge you if between you consider sizing down.. the only downside is with light weight fabric it will show any and every lump bump you have but has a lot of stretch capacity.. I think it runs a little long, not much just a little, maybe I just like my skirts shorter.. with that said I looked at Amazons recommendation for size.. a Large. I purchased a medium and could have fit a small.. I’m 5’9” and weigh 148.. Amazon’s size recommendations says fits as expected however their customer response clearly has no 4 or 5 stars for fits as expected.. bottom line, if you need a very light weight skort, that looks nice and washes well, buy a smaller size and consider hemming to get the best results.. being tall and thin and not living where I need an ultra light fabric I probably wouldn’t buy it again but I don’t dislike it and it’s trendy fabric made it a keeper.

Very pleased with the skirt. The length is perfect the fabric texture and flow all works well with this active lifestyle skirt. Very pleased with the quality.

Tribal skort

I like the length of these skorts. Most are too short for me because I’m 5’9”. I didn’t give this one 5 stars because the material is thinner than usual and it wrinkles some.

great pattern but VERY stretchy

Love the colors and pattern of this skort. However, it is really large and too "stretchy" for the typical size. It isn't that the size is wrong for me, but that the fabric is thin and sort of saggy. The fabric and construction of this skort is really kind of flimsy.....not the right word exactly, but it is thin, very little firmness to the stretch fabric. Thus it is very loose and poorer quality than other brands I have gotten on Amazon. I might consider getting a size down, but there are so many other skorts of really good quality that I probably won't.

Cheap fabric

Have loved tribal skorts in the past and think this one is specifically made for Amazon. Very cheap fabric.

Love, love, love

Love everything about this skort! Phone pocket in the under short. The shorts fit well and don’t ride up in the crotch when you walk. The skirt has two front and one back pocket large enough to use but do not stick out or hang open. The fabric is soft, washed well and does not wrinkle when packed.
