Sharp and cuts cuticles very well

Do you know when you get a lot of hang nails or ripping on your cuticles? I use cuticle cutters all the time. I bought another pair because my Revlon pair just wasn't sharp anymore. I am happy with this purchase and the price. Would recommend these to anyone.

They are nothing like I expected. They are hard to use and cut you easily.

This tool is perfect for clipping hangnails, they get much closer than fingernail clippers - relieving pain from not getting close enough.

Quality seems pretty good to me

I bought this to replace an older nipper that got dropped and hit a tile floor jaw first. That one was also a Revlon, stainless steel, made in Italy. VERY sharp, up until it got dropped... This one is made in China, but I don't see any difference in quality. The main difference to me is that the surfaces of the handles are not as shiny smooth as the old one; they have more of a matte finish. For me this is actually good; I was always afraid the old ones would slip right out of my hand as I was using them. With these I have more of a sure grip, so I'm actually finding it easier to use them for delicate operations. They also seem to be just as sharp as my old pair. I liked them so much I went ahead and bought another pair!

Don't understand the negative reviews!

I dropped and destroyed a Revlon set like these; those were made in Pakistan and I liked them. Saw all the reviews complaining about cheap Chinese versions being so much worse, so I was hesitant, but ordered these. The item (#38310) arrived and is made in Pakistan and, like my old pair, is of good quality and sharp. Maybe there are/were counterfeits around? Anyway: A good tool at a good price.

Dead on arrival

First use the spring popped off the clipper. The screw retaining it came out together with it. Re-installed thinking that it must have been loose only to find the threads were completely stripped. DOA.
