I was hurting until I got this...see for yourself! (It smells but it works!)
Scalp Psoriasis is an immune system disorder. Cells grow too fast and causing scaling, itching and discomfort. Out of no where I got this later in life. I got Head and Shoulder Shampoo, no good didn't do a thing. Tried Selsun Blue Medicated Anti-dandruff Shampoo and also no change, it didn't improve the condition. I was ready to go to a dermatologist as a last resort. My barber said to use True+Real Therapeutic Plus Tar Gel Anti-Dandruff Shampoo with Coal Tar, and leave it in 10 minutes prior to washing it out. I choose the Extra Strength with Coal Tar (1% to initially treat it, .5% to maintain the cure). Disclaimer it looks like motor oil and doesn't not have a pleasant smell, it is smells strong and has a tar like smell. I rubbed it into the problem area and let it sit while having my morning coffee. Afterwards while taking my morning shower used it like any other shampoo rubbing it in. This was magical for me, my condition went into remission in less than a week. The benefits out way all the negatives...look and odor. It is a serious product for a serious condition. Highly recommended! I included a before/after picture to show the results. Don't hesitate get this product!

It works, suggest to try
I bought it for the first time and washed my hair every two days for 3 weeks. I recommend it and will continue to buy and use it in the future. Although it has a strong smell of moth balls, however I will use a scented conditioner to neutralize the smell. I have medium to long hair, and about 5ml of it can be washed very clean. The foam is very delicate and sufficient. The dandruff is significantly reduced, I am very happy for this, the price is not expensive, I suggest friends who have a lot of dandruff to try, this review is only for reference.

Works as well as name brand. Lid unscrewed a bit
This product is fine. Works as expected. The distributor might note: the screw-on lid had a piece of tape to keep the lift-up nozzle from opening, but nothing to keep the lid itself from unscrewing. One did. Just a small leak, not a huge mess, captured in the plastic bag the two units came in. But if the tape had been longer, it might have prevented the leak completely. On the other hand, the plastic bag worked, and the leaked shampoo rinsed off easily.

Easier to use than the .5 coal shampoo.
This new formulation is much easier to use, lathers up easier and is a really good value. The results are also improved. You have really done a great job with this product implementation.

Product has definately helped my scalp issues
The scent is a little different but not unpleasant. I can feel the shampoo medication working. It takes the itch away almost immediately. I'm very pleased with the product and my hair feels great afterwards.

Works surprisingly well over Head & Shoulders
I was using Head and Shoulders, and switched to this when I noticed H&S was not working anymore. The results were pretty quick. The smell is different, but not super noticeable and fades quickly once out of the shower.

Good substitute
A good substitute for a pricey anti dandruff shampoo. In the past, has used a certain brand of expensive dandruff shampoo (not going to name that shampoo) but has been looking out for a cheaper alternatives, found this and it works just as well. Not all dandruff shampoo works the same on everyone, so you need to give it a try if it is going to save money in the long run.

if you use the much pricier neutrogena product- give this a go. works as good. i think it smells better and costs a heap less.
