Perfect Little Kit

I keep this in my office since I am always breaking my nails or I lose the individual pieces in my purse. I would recommend purchasing.

good enough

Many sets on Amazon have 6,000 different instruments for nails. Can't imagine needing so many tools. This is basic and does the job. Tools are sharp. Two things I don't care for: the plastic case; wish it was metal. The pink handle on the file. I HATE pink. women does not equal pink. Blech!

Handy for on the nail emergencies!

I bought this kit for a recent month long vacation. Now it is so handy to carry in my purse. I added the mini tweezers that fit perfectly in the case. AND Tweezerman is a name you can trust. Highly recommend.

Tweezerman Mini Nail Kit

I really like tweezerman products and this kit is great for travel or to carry in my purse. The only gripe I have is with the nippers. Those type of nippers can be a little difficult to use and they lose their shape/sharpness quickly.

Good product but the casing needs to be improved!

My lukewarm review is due to the case not being sturdy enough and breaking - spilling the content of itself into the bag. I bought this as an emergency manicure to keep in my bag. I haven't used it yet, been there for about a month (nothing heavy was banging against it, and it was in front pocket of my backpack), yet, the lid broke off. And this is after it kept opening randomly by itself for few weeks. Perhaps Tweezerman should look into better security casing, or have a leather pouch instead of this useless plastic crap.

Perfect little kit

I love this kit, it is just perfect the snippets are nice and sharp, the file is really good quality and the pusher is effective, without being too sharp so doesn’t damage the nail/cuticle bed. It’s great for travelling (just remember to put in hold luggage if flying so it doesn’t get confiscated by security!)

great kit

This kit is absolutely brilliant. I was worried that the case would be too bulky in my makeup bag, but it's very tiny, slim and light. The kit is great, the best part is the cuticle nipper – ingenious. I have very dry hands in general, with lots of painful hangnails and flaky skin around my nails (especially in winter) and this tool has proved invaluable for me. The nail file is pretty average IMO, but it's so great to have a tiny one in there all the same. I already have a pair of mini tweezerman tweezers, which I've added to the kit as well and it fits fine. It loses a star because of the cuticle pushy thing. I don't see why it has been designed with squared off edges, as I find that quite painful to use on the cuticles, especially if my hands slip. Why isn't it rounded?! Apart from that, a great kit.

Dubious about priced, but WELL worth it!

It was my first Tweezerman product, and although I'd read good reviews I was still a bit dubious. As I had a voucher I decided to splash out... and I have not been disappointed! The nailfile is adequate and not hugely special to be fair, but the cuticle pusher is sharp and easy to use.. and the cuticle trimmers are AMAZING. With very little pressure, they neatly snip away the overhanging cuticle skin and are so sharp they require no effort to use at all! Plus the angle of the blades is much more suitable for the job than any other nail scissors. I went about bought some tweezers too after this, and again was not disappointed!

Quality item

This is a super set. Tools are well made, sharp and well designed and fit neatly into the small but sturdy case, smooth shape slips easily into handbag or pocket. Just the thing for those nail emergencies. Lovely lime green colour, very pretty. Tweezerman tools are not cheap, but are top quality, so should outlast imitations. Well worth that little extra. Recommended.
