It fits tightly in the socket. It is low profile so it fits almost flush. The slots for the prongs hold them snuggly inside

Screw in adapters work fine

These adapters screw into the light bulb socket and provide a 2 pin plug socket. They work great.

It works!!

Used this on a motion sensor light for a more powerful light that plugged into this. Worked like a champ. No heat build up so, looks to last a long time. Great value for the money.

Easy installation

I loved it I have always hated the light fixtures and kept trying to figure out when and how to upgrade them and this was such a simple solution I have a nice bright led light and it works now with my light switch and no electrician needed

Did the job I bought if for

Nothing special about it, just did the job like I was expecting it to. Only two pronged like described so it limits what can be plugged inti it. But was relatively inexpensive. This sits pretty low to bulb screw in which is nice.

Thread is not good

I bought an 8 pack and only 2 would thread in the socket correctly. The others didn't go all the way in and then several got stuck in the outlet and I had to use pliers to get them out.

La ventaja de estos convertidores es poder usar un portalámparas como enchufe temporal.

Llegaron antes de la fecha prometida. ¿Qué puedo decir de un ingenio que conozco hace más de 50 años? La única diferencia es que el enchufe es polarizado. Es una ventaja poder contar con un enchufe eléctrico donde no lo hay pero hay que tomar en cuenta que los portalámparas tienen una capacidad eléctrica muy limitada. Se recomienda usar este convertidor sólo con aparatos de bajo consumo.

No funcionó

Lo necesitaba para conectar una serie de foquitos exteriores desde una lámpara y ninguno de los dos que vienen funcionó. Los focos y la corriente, sí funcionan. Lástima. Se veía bastante sencillo.
