Easy to assemble

End cap falls out-disappointed.
The one end threads into curtain tube. When you assemble accordingly, this end does not fit the threads snuggly and falls out. Disappointed in product, am not using because it is not quality.

Curtain Weight Matters
I hung some blackout curtains (2 panels, 46" each) and this rod had issues. At first, everything seemed good. But after 2 weeks, around 2:00 AM, the rod gave way and came crashing down. So, readjusted and rehung. Same thing. I suspect the curtains weigh too much. I ended up installing brackets for the rod. Solves my problem. Your mileage may very.

TOO BAD IT'S NOT AS GOOD AS IT LOOKS :-(
I like the look but when installing it, the ends, it is a screw-on ends, it gets loose as I was pushing it against the wall, so you kinda have to hold the ends and push really hard in-ward then release without rubbing against the wall. It took many tries to get it not to unscrew and fall, I would not be surprise if I see it fell. The old tension rods just had a rubber cap like end, which I think works much better.

Do not expect regular tension rod!
This is just the look I wanted and bought a second one. However, it is not sturdy and very difficult to make stay up. When you put pressure on the end to fit it in the window like every shower tension rod I've used it collapses to shorter length. It doesn't seem like there is a spring inside. I'm am very handy and this is not a good solution except it was cheap and looks good. Amazon should look into this repetitive problem (others noted the same problem) with the manufacturer. It should not be in Amazon's Choice category.

I bought a used one from the warehouse and I almost return it because the rod is smooth ALL OVER, you see NO divisions, therefore expanding it was tricky. I removed both ends and figured it out after a while, but I would rather look at instructions and get it done quickly. I gave it a 4 because overall it is a nice curtain rod!

Quick and easy install. Good deal. Looks good. Problem solver for odd shape windows.
This thing is well worth the price for a nonstandard, short tension rod for a nonstandard window. We were having some glare from a tiny window and this is a great DIY solution to throw up a short curtain that you can draw closed for glare. I like the no drill install and the finish of the meal is a neutral, brushed nickel type of look. I’d consider getting more of these in the future, especially for the reasonable price and easy install. Would be a great decorating solution for renters or just those impatient types who aren’t handy or don’t own a drill. Overall I’d recommend it.

Doesn't work
This doesn't stay up. Doesn't matter how much you twist & tighten it. The first time you touch it, it falls down. I threw it out. Garbage.

Easy to install, lightweight
Lightweight and easy to install. We used it for lightweight curtains in ~45” wide basement window to avoid having to drill into the metal window frame. The tension rod is supported at each end by the metal window frame which isn’t perfectly flat, but so far has held up well and has not fallen or shifted. We installed it a little over a month ago. The rod isn’t as study as the ones sold for shower curtains ( there is more flex and the threading isn’t perfect so I was a bit concerned it might not hold or sag over time). However it is slimmer than a shower curtain rod and looks nicer in my opinion.

Excellent quality, easy to fit
This is a great quality tension rod which is a breeze to fit and very reliable. It's expensive for a small drapery rod, but you do get what you pay for and this will last. I've had cheaper rods that were not as reliable or as durable so I tend to always go for quality with curtain rods.
