10 day CO backpack trip torture test approved.

My 11yr old boy just used these on a 7 day backpack trip in the Sangre de Cristo mtns in CO. He wore off and on for a month prior to break in. On the trip feet stayed dry & blister free. No abnormal wear. He told me they were good & his feet were happy. I figure that's about as hardcore torture test as you can give to some kid's shoes. Passed the test.

Perfect hiking boot for the young enthusiast.

These are sturdy boots for the young adventurer. They lace up easily and stay laced. They have a durable rubber sole that is non-slip for the rugged outdoor hiking. The soft outer fabric is comfortable and attractive. They go up the ankle on my little one, and fit nicely - not leaving any rubbing on the ankle. Fits true to size. They are truly a comfortable hiking shoe for the young enthusiast who wants function and fashion.

Great for the young hiker

We recently purchased these boots for our 6 year old. We were expecting rain for our hiking trip so we wanted something to keep his feet dry. I'm glad to say, he was the only one with dry feet by the end of our trip. Rain and mud were no problem for these boots. Great product at a great price!

Made a picky kid happy

We needed to find hiking boots quick for our overly picky 11-yr old. Among many we tried; these were by far his favorite. They have a faint camo pattern under the leather, and I honestly think that’s what sold him. I was happy too because the camo is in the background and not too garish.

Worked well for awhile but the waterproofing is limited with extended exposure to wet conditions. I sent these with my son to camp and his feet were soaked after a few hours of walking through wet grass.

Got these for my 6 year old boy. Put them on and hiked 8 miles on and off trail with them over two days. He said they were comfortable, and he didn't complain once about his feet. They seemed to have great traction as well. Very happy with the purchase.

Very comfortable...

My 8yrs old kid used it for the first time for a boy scout walk of more than 5 miles through several trails in a rain forest. Water, grass, mud, dirt, etc. and no complaints at all. Very comfortable and dry feet. They run like a half size below normal size.

Good hiking boots

Used this hiking in Colorado and back home in Ohio. Has held up really well. Kept feet dry when walking through small creeks, etc. Son really likes them and would buy again.
