Definitely the Favorite Toy

I bought one of these for my son, and from day one he has adored it - it comes everywhere with us and he always has it in his mouth or swinging around. It lasted through cutting his front teeth, but it got so much attention that the plastic finally started to crack. We ended up replacing it, and Sophie continues to be one of his most favorite toys. We got this as a gift for a friend’s newborn, and not only did she love receiving it but her son is just as obsessed with his Sophie as our son. It’s really great quality, easy for little hands, and easy to clean. I highly recommend.

Sophie a real winner!

Niece in Wisconsin expecting 1st child. I'm in California so I wanted something special. Sophie is adorable & safe! Spoke with sister back there.... and she had also purchased Sophie....we had a s good giggle,!!!!!

I bought this for my niece. It was on her "wish list" for her baby shower. Such a cute gift! As far as how it works for teething....I guess we'll find out when those teeth come in. It got lots of oohs and aaahs at the baby shower.

Not as robust as you'd hope for in a teether

My daughter is 7 months old and we are on Sophie number 3. Pictures included are two different Sophie's. Contacted the company and they are more than willing to send a replacement and very responsive customer service. However, for a toy that is THE must have teether, its just not up to scratch. Baby doesn't even have teeth yet, but two have split. If she didn't love it so much I would just bin it and give up. Looking for alternatives - Matchstick monkeys definitely seem more robust! Its a little harder than Sophie, which is why my daughter likes to switch between them depending on how much her gums are bothering her. In short, I wouldn't bother with Sophie. Get something better, just because its popular doesn't mean its good!

FAKE FAKE FAKE with one cheek missing!!

Fake product with one cheek on sophie. Absolutely diabolical item, clearly the paint is not stable or whatever because we hadn't even had this 5 minutes. It literally had arrived this way! Box damaged. Not good start really is it??? Wouldn't give it to a dog let alone an infant. Dont waste your money when you can buy for real on the sophie la giraffe website for the same price!!!

God send/best by far

My baby teethed very early at 3 months and Sophie Giraffe has been an utter God send! It regularly my first thought in the morning-where is Sophie giraffe! He finds Sophie easy hold, manoeuvre and chew! We tried a few other products and this is by far the best by far.

Ticks all the boxes

I read countless reviews before getting this - I thought ‘wow, nearly 2.5k reviews, it must be a must-have!’ Its made of fairly thin doy-toy style rubber and has a squeaker I previously thought was unnecessary, but actually, now my lb can squeak it himself; its quite the hit! (I was somehow expecting a solid stress-ball type material...!) It does tick a lot of boxes being chewable, interesting to touch, visually stimulating etc but personally I think it’s black eyes are quite creepy! It makes my lb smile when he sees it so I’m happy with that!

Reconsider if you have a dog that enjoys a squeaker!

I bought sophie giraffe for my nephew who is 5 months. The texture and feel of this teething toy is ideal for babies with sore gums. Downside to this toy is that it has a 'squeaker' which attracts the attention of the dog. There is not a great need for a squeaker in this teething tog and would be much more family friendly if it was not in it! I can not see the squeaker mentioned in the product description. This is the only reason the toy did not recieve 5 stars!
