Sturdy, Everyday Run-Around Sandal

This is a good-looking, sturdy, chunky sandal that is so comfortable you can use it for everyday wear like heading out to the mall or grocery shopping. One aspect I really like is that the heel and platform are made of a solid synthetic material that mimics cork. Many summer sandals have plastic heels and platforms that are covered with a very thin layer of (fake) cork. One scrape to this layer ruins the look of the sandal by exposing the underlying (and unflattering) plastic. These sandals avoid that problem with their composite heel/platform construction. I am an average size 8 and this shoe fits me very well. No 'break them in' time; I wore them with comfort straight out of the box. The buckle is a classic accent and it is weighty, too, i.e., not silver-colored plastic. This shoe is not leather. It is all man-made materials, which is the downside for me.

So comfy, but too wide.

I wish I could keep them. The foot bed was extremely comfortable and the height was perfect. Only problem, as noted by others, I found the front strap too wide. Even tightening the top strap did not keep my toes from sliding forward. Unfortunately, I will be returning.

Sadly to wide for my foot.

I love White Mountain foot gear … but my narrow foot went right through the front strap! So I had to return them. They are adorable and very comfortable - just wish they fit me!

Possibly better for a wider foot

I do not consider my foot wide or narrow, so probably medium by shoe sizing. There was a gap along the front strap. Additionally, I normally wear a size 8. There was enough space at the front of the shoe, as the back strap was tight enough to keep my foot in line with the heel, that a 1/2 size smaller would have looked better. Not sure if this would have helped with the gapping with the front strap though. Seemed comfortable to walk in. Cork base... so not sure how it would hold up in wet grass or rain accumulations on the street. Buckle was large but I liked the causal look. Reminded me a bit of a Dansco shoe. However, I have never owned one.

Don’t like these sandals….I LOVE THEM!

These sandals are pretty, feminine and stylish! I haven’t been able to wear sandals like this for a long time since I’ve broken my foot and all my toes. I took a leap of faith since these were so pretty and I’m glad I did! I’ve become more of a sneaker girl and have been buying shoes more for comfort than fashion. I won w these sandals. They are literally as comfy as sneakers but pretty! They are so comfy that I can even walk the dog in them. The straps are soft and don’t dig into your foot and they conform to your feet. Love love love!

So cute, so narrow

The shoe was as cute as the picture indicated, but I had to return them the day I received them because I couldn’t fit my foot into the lower strap (across toes). The length was fine and the upper strap adjusts, but I needed to remove a toe to fit this pair. I usually wear a half size up or a wide for comfort instead of snug fit, but unfortunately this shoe wanted a narrow foot or a snug medium and had no give for a wide. They are cute, though.

NOT for WIDE feet

Quality is good & the shoe is very pretty but it is very narrow. One strap has an adjustable belt but the strap near the toe is not adjustable & too narrow for my wide feet. So don’t get it you have wide feet
