Alright, so I usually don't write reviews, which is ironically what every scam reviewer writes haha! Anyhow, I saw the reviews here, and honestly I can't entirely speak of the sturdiness yet. I have bought three pairs of these jeans in 28x30. So far so good, I have recently started buying deadstock and vintage LEVIS 501 from pre-2000, which are much better quality than new LEVIS, unfortunately, both in fit and quality. In quality level I'll compare NEW-LEVIS, OG-LEVIS and the Wranglers bought here. 1: Quality OG LEVIS, wins hands down, the quality of material and stitching is just streets ahead. However insofar as NEW-501 vs Wrangler Authentic 5-pocket - Wrangler wins, as much as I like 501s, their quality ranges widely depending on production year and colour. Generally blue 501 have a good quality, but their other colours often come out stiff, for comparison I bought the Khaki in LEVIS 501, I believe they were called timberwolf colour, but the same as Khaki here. Incredibly stiff in the material, even after several washes. Whereas the Wrangler has been nice and soft even after a couple of test-washes! 2: Sizing & Fit OG Levis and the Wranglers here are quite similar in fit on the hip and in inseam. I usually use 30 inseam, but that often comes out too short on many pants, however vintage pants and jeans with inseam 30 fit me like a glove. With these wranglers out of the three pairs of jeans, the inseam has remained the same. New LEVIS terrible inseam, too short compared to description, I know that it is the fashion currently to have a pants-leg that is at ankle/above ankle length, which is fine, but unfortunately sellers sell with the inseam being 30, when in fact it is only 29 or so. NEW LEVIS have terrible fit on the hip as well, it is slightly below mid-rise I'd argue, and perhaps some of them barely above low-rise, so much inconsistency with the 501 currently. OG LEVIS, nice solid mid-rise waist-line, and I can say the same for these Wranglers. Insofar as the hip is concerned, a bit tight, same with OG LEVIS and NEW LEVIS; which I don't mind, this is the standard fit, not the relaxed or flex version. For all of the jeans. The thigh and calf fit is also nice and roomy if you buy in your size; I certainly don't have skinny legs, relatively muscular throughout and they are not too tight, a little strain on the thigh perhaps, and on the peak of the calf, but not uncomfortable. What started my jeans journey was actually waist/leg fit, rather than quality. I went to a local store and tried a pair of jeans on in 28x30, and I couldn't get them over my calf, and the tightness in the thigh was ridiculous not to mention how low they sat on my waist. When I checked the fit it wrote "Standard" after that it was a long journey to find that Wranglers are generally consistent and high quality especially considering the price. Wrangler used to have this 5-pocket as made in USA, I was lucky enough to buy a pair a couple of years ago, and unsurprisingly the material is nicer than what we currently have as well as construction of stitching, with that said this current version, imo has a better hip/waist fit, if just barely. I'll probably buy another 1-2 pairs of these at some point
