Worked on Troy Bilt 4 stroke
I only needed the cover and filter, so I mounted it to the original choke. Works like a charm!

Good replacement
Original cover fell off in deep weeds. This one was every bit as good as the original, maybe better. As I recall the new cover has same instructions for starting, and the choke lever has a detent for 2nd position, absent in the original.

Air cleaner assy, fits Cub Cadet BC509
This item includes the base plate (choke lever and air filter) plus the outer cover. Only needed the outside cover, since it continually falls off, but this item has everything outside the carb sans the two screws and gaskets. The o-ring between the base plate and the carb is included too. There is an adhesive label showing starting instructions in pictographs, that probably won't stay stuck on, but otherwise, a fine replacement assembly. Kept the old stuff for spares, as inevitably I'll lose this new cover at some point.

Perfect replacement!
The cover for my Troy Bilt 4 cycle trimmer fell off in a trailer and was lost to the highway. I hesitated to buy this cover because I already had the filter and lever, and didn't need to pay for the extra stuff besides the cover but I'm glad I did. The included mechanism/filter is actually better than the stock cover that came with my trimmer, and because the choke works better, it starts easier and runs better. Worth the money, in my opinion.
