Great product but instructions could be a little more detailed

I wouldve given this a 5 star based on the amount of experiments, box and quality of product. The instructions are so condensed so far they havent worked out for me. I couldnt get the rocket to fly.

nice kit, not shocking, limited learning

the excitement of a rocket kit enticed by daughters so we went about it and created some of the projects, the effects are minimal. I was hoping for things flaring out of a coke bottle like how we used to do it when we were little with soda and everything, but this is very "americanized" protected against liability or something so it is very "subdued". it is nice if you are more on a "safe player" side, if you are interested in building something crazy great with high expectations, this may not be it. it is giftable though, but probably to a more selective/cautious audience.

What a fun science set!

My 6 year old son and I are loving this set. He has always been interested in science and this gave us a fun, hands-on science gift for his birthday. It give understandable explanations of why the experiments work and what exactly is happening with each one. I would highly recommend it for anyone whose small kids love science.

STEM for ALL

This kit explores the science behind rocket propulsion. We've been using this for a week now and the 3rd graders have been enjoying learning about STEM and doing hands on experiments that allow them to think like scientists.

This kit includes maybe $5 worth of junk

You get some baking soda and citric acid, some cheap plastic ball things to squeeze and squirt air out, maybe half dozen small cheap nerf like rockets, some straws, etc - a few more things. The 1st experiment was to put a nerf rocket thing on the squeezable plastic ball with spout and squeeze, making the nerf shoot. Wow!!! Another one was blowing up a balloon and letting it go. That was crazy cool - never done that before. You get the picture. It kept by son busy for 5 minutes. Oh yeah, the rocket experiment - take the small plastic cup, put some lemon juice in it, put a napkin over the top, some baking soda, lid over the top, turn upside down outside and let the 'rocket' take off. Yeah, it sits there for a bit until it fizzes and the lid barely pops off. I don't get how this box of junk got so many good ratings.

Another excellent science kit from ETA Hand to Mind

This is the second purchase I've made from this company. The first one was the Boom kit. Both are excellent. I purchased this for my 8 year old after observing him thoroughly enjoy the Boom kit. I highly recommend both items. I look forward to purchasing more of their kits.
