Good but not for me

I liked the color and the warmth. The green color matched the picture and it was super warm. I didn't like how puffy it was. I really did look like a green Michelin man. Too bulky for my style.

It’s nice and will keep you warm! My only con is that it’s very very heavy like about 5 pounds so I could feel the weight on my shoulders and when I would carry it, it would hurt my arm!

So warm & fits perfectly

This is a fantastic puffer coat for winter. It's sage green and has a hood. The fabric (and, I believe, the stuffing as well) is 100% polyester. Although I ordered a Medium, it's still a pretty good-sized coat! The hood has a drawstring so that you can fit it more closely to your head on cold and windy days. The front zips up to the neck (and the zipper is a two-way, so you can zip it from the bottom to top or vice versa). There are also snap closures if it's a day you don't want to mess with the zipper. The sleeves have an elastic band so that no cold wind freezes your wrists. In addition, there are pockets on each hip which also have snap closures. I washed this coat in cold water, then dried it (with dryer sheets). It did shrink a very small amount, but the fit is still perfect. (You could always wash it in cold and just hang it to dry if you're concerned about shrinkage.) From here on out I'll wash it then hang it for drying, as I don't want it to shrink further. I'm on the tall side, but the hem of the coat falls just below my knees. That is a great length for me. The only slightly odd thing (for me) is that the hood doesn't fall down the back when I have the coat on; rather, it scrunches up around my neck. When my medium-length hair is down it does smush my hair a bit. (In the picture I wore it up in a knot, but the hood still fit pretty closely around the back of my head.) I'd wear this coat as a day coat or for casual wear so that's not really a problem--but I did want to mention it. It will definitely keep the wind out, with that styling! Otherwise, I adore this coat. It's so warm, it fits amazingly well, and I love the color.

Excellent coat... wish I had ordered the correct size!

This coat is VERY plush & comfy. I love the zipper slits on the sides. It is very warm, but like most puffers, it's not going to do you any favors as far as looks are concerned. I saw others use phrases like "Michelin Tire Man" and "winter comforter" in their reviews. That is accurate. I immediately burst out laughing when I put this coat on and saw myself in the mirror. I am petite and usually order a size S in most clothing. I actually meant to order this coat in a size XS hoping it would be more form fitting. But somehow I accidentally ordered a size M, and it is enormous on me. It's absolutely engulfing me. I would say that if you want to be comfortable and/or wear multiple layers with this coat, order your usual size. If you want a more snug fit, or if you live somewhere that you probably wouldn't need many layers under this thing, you probably could do a size down from your usual. Definitely do not order a size up, unless you want to look like a toddler wearing your dad's coat. All of that being said, it is a LOVELY coat. The "sage green" is maybe a little more green than it looks in the photos, but otherwise, the stitching & materials are excellent -- just what I've come to expect of the Amazon brand.

I highly recommend this, great quality as usual

I'm glad I listened to the suggestions to size down, which made this long puffer jacket fit me a little better. I can probably go down one more size but I'm not sure what the fit will be like. It feels warm and comfortable on, not too tight, not too loose. I'm around 5'2 and I'd say the length comes down to just a little below my knees. This isn't my first time getting Amazon Essentials clothing and honestly I am always very happy with their quality and design - this one was no different. It is well stitched and sewn, well made and great quality overall. This jacket will keep you really warm. It has zipper and buttons to ensure you're all bundled up and very little cold wind can get inside. It has a great amount of stuffing. I actually have the cropped version as well and it is just the same great quality. This long version will be great for even colder temperatures or when I'm playing in the snow with my toddler. Don't hesitate when it comes to Amazon Essentials clothing. Like I said above, I have been happy with the numerous pieces of clothing from the Amazon brand and they have really surprisingly been great. If Amazon Essentials had a physical clothing store I would not hesitate to shop there. If you are looking for a long puffer jacket this is a great one to go with, not to mention it is very reasonably priced for something well made and warm like this. The only thing I'd say is to size down, at least one size.

So cozy Puffer jacket but in trench length

I am now prepared for wild Texas weather! If there’s a freeze coming, I got this! Seriously though, this is very cozy snow bunny vibes. It is like a puffer jacket but in longer trench length so your legs won’t feel like they’re freezing. The fit is true to size, and the length is good for me, I am 5’6” tall, typically wear size S/M clothes. If you are in between, I would recommend sizing up to accommodate for layers, scarves, etc. rather than down. The coat is very, very puffy, I think that a little lighter insulation would make the jacket wear in a more flattering way, or maybe mine needs to be broken in a bit more. I would wear it more often if it had less fluff. The pockets are in a good place, and are roomy enough for my hands to stay warm. Overall, I’m pleased with this coat, it feels well made and definitely keeps me nice and toasty warm.

Comfortable and well made with good zipper

I ordered a size up since I will be wearing layers underneath and it is plenty big. The jacket is very comfortable and well made with a good zipper. I’m not too crazy about the tan color. I had wanted the sage green but it wasn’t available at the time I ordered. I usually don’t like the way this jacket is made around the wrists as it was usually too tight but not with this one. When wearing the jacket with the hoodie down it does not lie flat and it rests on my neck and hair too much.
