Great shoe. A bit narrow
I like the look of these, but they do run a bit narrow. I use them as a winter casual shoe instead of a trail shoe.

Not waterproof
I ordered an 11 but I received a 10.5. And I erroneously thought the W in the description meant Wide. My mistake, I think it just means Womens. But the description says it is waterproof and there is no tag or anything stamped on the shoe to indicate that it is waterproof. I have tried other Salomon waterproof shoes and they have a noticeable goretex lining.

Ok but not great
These are very comfortable but run a tad large. I had to wear very thick socks. The issue that is the most disappointing is how slippery they are for a waterproof or water resistant hiking shoe. Wore them for Costa Rica and almost threw them in the trash as I about broke my neck several times. Since I was traveling I didn’t have too many options to change or buy new based on where I was staying.

Not waterproof
I love Solomon and have been a loyal customer for years. When I bought these it was majorly for the waterproofing. Alas, one walk through the grass after the rain proved me wrong. Everything else about this shoe is excellent; the comfort, the style, the fit. But this was a major disappointment.

Very comfortable and great grip but material started to pull away only after a couple days.
Super comfortable shoes. I hiked 22 miles in the I’m Glacier National park. The grip was great and my feed did not get sore. A little disappointed that part of the side/toe was pulling away from the cloth on the shoe after only wearing a couple days but I am overall happy with them.

Wonderfully surprised
I wear a 12 but sometimes a 13 w a sneaker/shoe. The structure of this shoe is more supportive than squishy. But very comfortable, at least for my foot. Bought from Warehouse. 12 fits perfectly, no breaking in time. Extremely pleased.

ONE SIZE BIGGER THAN SIZE SAYS
The only reason I’m giving it 2 stars is because Amazon exchanged immediately the product and the product was the problem . I usually buy Nike but have bought Solomon before . I take a TRUE TO SIZE 8 1/2 woman’s. Never had an issue with sizing before . These fit like a 9 1/2 one full size bigger. I wasn’t sure so I exchanged for an eight but apparently 7 1/2 is what I needed. The size 8 is narrow and still to long but I wore them so won’t exchange again. Totally terrible sizing !!!

NOT waterproof
Paid over £100 for these on the basis that they were waterproof - they are NOT. I got my feet properly wet just walking through damp grass.

Size and Fit Perfect.
I would recommend these walking shoes to anyone. They were instantly comfortable, have an excellent sole and are a true five and a half.

Not waterproof
I was after a pair of waterproof walking shoes. Just went out in a heavy rain shower and the rain went straight through. Giving them a 2* review though as they are still very comfy and lightweight

Lightweight walking shoe
The shoes are very good but don’t have such a good sole pattern as my other Salomon walking shoes so not such a good grip. My complaint is with Amazon who advertised the shoes as being waterproof with a Gortex lining. They don’t have a waterproof lining at all & aren’t waterproof so not the bargain I thought. I kept them as I expect them to be long lasting and are good in dry weather. No signs of wear so far.
