Good compression. Feel good on.
Super compression, which was what I was looking for. They come out of the package looking like little girl pants, but as you put them on you can feel the serious compression. There is extra compression around the knees and the IT band. :) I am 5'8", 165, usually wear a size 10 and I ordered a large. They fit perfectly. There is a draw string and a (goofy) interior pocket. Not sure what I'm supposed to put in there. I'd given these bottoms a 5 star had the waist not been so high. It stops just at my belly button. I'd like them a bit lower, but then I'd probably get serious muffin top from the compression. The waist just makes them a teenie tiny bit off from perfect. However, that doesn't stop me from wanting more pairs and putting several on my wish list. I bought these for Crossfit WODs and for the days after a WOD when walking hurts cuz your muscles move. I thought the compression would be nice to hold everything still. Basically, they are my recovery pants. Oh also, I looked at my local Scheels store first and they had nothing that even compares to these compression wise. This material is much thicker than a typical spandex capri.

Great for Hips and Knees
Let me begin by saying that I bought the 3/4 Length tights the very next day after wearing the full-lenght tights for the first time. The full-length tights are AMAZING, but very hot for summer in Florida. I'd hoped that the 3/4 length would provide all of the awesome benefits while being cooler. If you have hip and/or knee trouble, these are all you need. However, not suprisingly, these weren't as effective on my calves and heels, by extension. They weren't really much cooler either. I didn't find the fit to be any different than the fit of the full-length tights. For my body, they are snug through the legs and hips, but I definitely need the drawstring to secure them around my waist. Even with being "looser" in the waist, there was still adequate compresion on my belly. After two ceasarian deliveries and moderate separation of my abdominal muscles, the compression panel in the belly area makes my core feel much more secure while doing plank-type exercises. I've had both pairs for several weeks and will not run in anything else. I alternate between the two pairs I own and wash them inisde out in warm water after each wear, then lay them flat to dry. I haven't noticed any wearing, fraying, unravelling, color loss, or loss of shape.

Good purchase for running... bought a 2nd pair
SIZE: I was on the line between large and xl... after reading tons of reviews, I got the large for women's size 12/14 frame and was very happy. They are a little tough to put on at first (like most tights) but offer the support I was looking for due to a strained hamstring. DURABILITY: I hand wash them and hang dry. They seem durable enough for my running 20 to 50 miles per week depending on what I'm training for. LOOK: Personally, I wouldn't wear them without shorts or running skirt covering them as you can, kind of, see through them. (Not super sheer but just a little) OVERALL: I am SUPER happy with these especially for the price! They help a ton with long runs and recovery because of the stitching support design. This is where they differ from other running tights. Very happy... I bought a second pair. :)

Kept me Running, Let me Avoid Surgery
I was thinking I was at the point where I would need knee surgery. But these tights held my back and hips and knees stable, and honestly, I can't believe how much difference it has made to my running. I am running with very little to no pain, I haven't felt this good running in a couple years. Just can't recommend these highly enough. And yes - get the size it says on the chart. They need to be tight to work. And they do loosen up a bit with washing and wear.

Great Compression and Support
I love CW-X Stabilyx for running and wear the tights, capris and shorts depending on weather and need. I'd be wearing shorts right now but I'm having knee issues so want the extra support around that area therefore ordered extra capris. These are comfortable, provide great support (I'll only run in compression pants) and as an added bonus, they hide some "conformation flaws." The only thing I would change about the design is to have a bigger, zippered pocket on the back of the waist like a lot of other running pants too. The small, slip pocket inside the front is pretty useless. Otherwise, I highly recommend these. The only precaution is about the sizing. I actually knew beforehand that the fit is small and ordered accordingly. According to the size chart I would be between a small and a medium (5'5" and 130-135), but I wear a large in the capris and tights; and medium in the shorts. They are indeed supposed to fit tight -- and they do -- but I need to be able to get them on and off unaided and without hurting myself too!

Excellent product with great fit delivers all it promises!
I love these pants! I bought my first pair a few years when twining for a Triathlon and my knee was bothering me. (FYI, I am NOT a skinny little triathlete, I am a normal to normal plus woman) and hated wearing a knee brace. These totally help with that, and I actually wore that pair out after 2 years. I dreaded buying another pair, so often products change little details and they aren't the same, NOT the case here - same great fit, same great quality. My worn out ones weren't really doing their job of stabilizing my knee anymore, and these are. After 3 years and lots of walking running biking and yoga I guess the first ones were a little stretched out. I wear a Large - in jeans I wear a 12 or 14 depending on the cut. Best price is for sure here on Amazon, amazing!

Surprise! They support! (and fit)
Ok...so I've always secretly thought track tights were stupid...these changed my mind. I pulled them out of the package and thought... uhm... these will never fit over my thighs, let alone my hips....but what the hey... I put them on according to instructions...holy cow- they fit! Supported my knees and hips when I ran. I had better endurance and I felt supported. Great! I'll order another pair... I wish they were a little longer (I hate tanning). I washed them once and they did well.

These are comfortable - I have no complaints. The fit is spot on, I'm comfortable running in them, and I would recommend them to a friend. Update: I've had these for a while now. I've decided they're amazing and worth every penny. Nothing budges when I run, everything from my waist down feels fully supported, and I recover quickly from difficult workouts. I recently bought a different brand to save money but they don't even compare. I'll be buying these again and highly recommend them for anyone who wants serious compression pants rather than yoga pants or regular tights. CWX tights aren't messing around.
