These are very narrow!

I don't normally wear sneakers, or any kind of athletic shoes, but love the style of these. They are very lightweight, and comfortable. Probably not worth the price, considering the materials and workmanship. I ordered a half size up, and I'm glad I did. Get the wide width! These are almost too narrow for me, and I have narrow feet! This makes them difficult to get on and off. I am hoping these will break in nicely so I can wear them casually in the summertime. Love that they don't have high arch. If you step on a pebble with these, you will definitely know it. I hope this helps! Update: I have been wearing these for a couple of weeks now, and they are very comfortable. Thinking of buying a second pair.

I’m hooked on Ryka

I have been wearing my favorite Ryka (desire) that they don’t make anymore for some time. Finally because they are just so raggedy but so comfortable, I really should not be wearing them anymore. I know that it’s time to retire these. I emailed Ryka to asked if they could help find something comparable to the desire style that was discontinued awhile ago. They responded to my request and suggested that I try the empower style. Which I did and I ordered my normal size 10 in the empower. I was disappointed because the 10 felt like big boat shoes. So I did an exchange and went down to a 9.5 received today and was surprised that they fit very well so far. I’m really hooked on the Ryka’s because I have so many different styles and they are more comfortable then any other brand that I’ve tried over the years. Most of your tennis/sneakers/shoes deserve 5 stars but I reducing it down to 4 stars because there is a plucker that goes right across the instep strap. I will add more pictures later.

Don’t get wet. They dried and the heel wrinkled and I don’t think they can be worn again.

Harder to put on despite 'loafer' look

I wear a medium width, 7.5 - 8 range. I purchased size 8. For me it was difficult to insert my foot , despite wearing thin trouser socks. While not uncomfortable, they could have been more comfortable for my feet. Returning them.

Comfy Until…

These shoes are cute and convenient; don’t get me wrong. I’ve gotten a few compliments on my gray pair, and they are okay. They just have no foot support. My feet hurt after half an hour of walking, standing, running, or anything. I think I have the right to say with confidence that if your looking for a cute shoe that’s semi-comfortable for a month. These are your shoes, but if you want something that won’t make your heels scream out in pain if they are your go-to shoe… I would recommend looking for another set.

Not as comfortable as I expected it them to be

The back of the heels are too high, thick and hard, so they are rubbing the back of my heels, for just trying them on. Sadly they are not as comfortable and light as the similar one made by Adidas.

Nice style and size

I'm very pleased with both sizing and quality as I have a difficult time with shoes and sore feet They are very true to size and I've had co,plimentsments on these ! Good price too!
