Very nice sandals

I just got these sandals and have worn them around the house so far. They are nicer shoes than I expected. The leather is very soft and creamy feeling, and the soles are cushy and little bouncy that so far provides the support I need from a mid-foot injury I had a few years ago. I ordered my normal size and they fit well. The style is simple and therefore timeless, in my opinion; a good closet staple, suitable for a lot of different looks from skirts and dresses to shorts to jeans. They are not likely to be a conversation piece on lady's night, but at the same time, I don't feel at all like I am wearing granny's shoes; much like the sandals that I am replacing with these that I had for almost 20 years until they fell apart a couple of weeks ago. There are two reasons I didn't give them 5 stars. The first is that the back strap is just long enough for practical use with not even a millimeter left over, and my ankles and feet are on the slender side for my size of foot. When I buckled them the first time while on my feet, I managed to get the buckle latched on the last hole on the strap which doesn't leave much length left to get the strap through the back of the buckle to hold it down. Fortunately, the buckle side of the strap has some elastic on it, and I can put the buckle on the next to last hole before I put them on to help prevent the end of the strap from popping out of the buckle as I walk around. This also eliminates the need to fuss with the buckle each time I put them on. But in doing this, they will only hold out with wear as long as the elastic does which can't be nearly as long as if the strap were a little longer. The second reason I didn't give them five stars is because of the stiffness of the bottom on the heel-facing sides of the strap that goes over the mid foot. I can feel where this strap was folded down and stitched to the sole under my arches on each side of the shoe while wearing them, and I think that will be an area where they may rub, perhaps until they are broken in. But at least I have a good idea where the band aids will need to go to be sure I don't get a blister; and this leather is so soft, this potential issue should lessen with wear. Other than this, I haven't found anywhere else they might rub. I would definitely buy them again if there were other colors available.

The fit is off, need to try before buying

The shoe itself is pretty. It’s elegant, simple and the color (champagne) is perfect. The problem is sizing. I have a wide foot and 7.5 w was too narrow. I then ordered 7.5 ww . The width fits fine but it is very long and the back strap doesn’t even touch my ankle! I would like to try the 7ww now but it’s at triple the cost of the sizes I tried! It’s a shame because it’s an elegant , understated and somewhat comfortable shoe. My advice——-skip altogether. The sizing is just terrible

Good-looking Shoe

These shoes are very chic and well constructed. I bought them to match some navy dresses I typically wear to the theater or symphony. While they are dressy, they are likely not dressy enough for a wedding or prom. Some customers noted that the shoes fit tightly. I am an average size 8 and they fit me pretty well. They are a little bit snug in the width and thus probably not for everyday wear, but will work well for the events noted above. I did not have the problem with the heel strap slipping that others buyers mentioned. The shoes fit me well in the heel.

The shoes size

All over the sandals in well made, only one thing is too long for my short toes, the size 5 like size 6 for me and a little bit narrow. The champagne color won't overstate and elegant. Not suitable for wide short feet. I've haven't return because it's is a nice sandals so I give it to someone.

These are beautiful. They dress up or down. The height of the heel is perfect. The only problem is the footbed has a seem in a spot that doesn't work for me. I covered that seam with adhesive moleskine. Problem solved.
