very soft leather

For more than a decade I have worn the Kaci shoe. Absolutely loved em! Until they switched up the sizing, or something. Had to up the size (out of stock) and still on the small side. Read the reviews on this shoe and tried them. still went for the bigger size, just in case. These are nice shoes. The toe box is not quite as big as the kaci, but big enough. The great thing with these is VERY easy on and off. No wiggling battle like with the kaci. My heal slipped allot at first, but after a few hours of wear it is minimal. The leather is much softer than kaci. They are quite comfortable, just wish for the darker brown and the cuteness of the kaci.

Most comfortable shoes I own.

I have always been a fan of the KEEN shoes and these seriously did not disappoint me. They are comfortable and have a really good inner sole pad that keeps the shoes from getting stinky from wearing them without socks all summer. My go to shoes for everything, casual enough to wear sockless with shorts and nice enough to wear with some khaki's for work.

Absolutely love these

I needed a practical around-the-house shoe that provided support and comfort. I wear them for walks around the neighborhood and the tread is great for gravel, steep slopes and they are easy to rinse off in the winter when it's muddy out. At first, I thought they would be too snug, however, I have other slip-on keens and started out wearing a lightweight sock. Now I can wear with heavy or light weight socks and they are equally comfortable.

Cute but narrower fit, instep rubs

If you have a normal to *slightly* wider foot and if you also have a high instep - you might want to keep looking. I have Targhee 2s that I love and have had for years. I love them because I can wear them for hours without foot pain. However these shoes fit quite differently. They have a similar sole but otherwise fit tighter width wise and instep wise. I’m going to keep looking. I’ll wear these for times when I don’t need to walk much.

Not up to Keen's usual standard

Keen is known for three features in a shoe - functionality, excellent workmanship, and great comfort from the first wearing. The typical homeliness is forgiven thereby. Unfortunately, the shoes in question are more narrow than usual, and hurt my feet, even after trying to "break them in" for a few weeks. Disappointing.

NOT slip proof

Purchased these with the belief that they would help prevent slipping when outside. While I love the shoes they don't prevent me from slipping and hence the lower score. The following is Keen's description: 'TRACTION: KEEN ALL-TERRAIN rubber outsole provides high-traction grip in muddy environments and on rocky surfaces' .....they just forgot to add that they don't work on tile, wet wood and flat stones.

Doesn't fit like my old Keen shoes

The shoes came quickly but they didn't fit like the old Keen shoes I have. The heel fit well but the toe box is much narrower than I expected. I love the Kaci style but it appears this style is no longer available. I will be returning Targhee slip on shoes and am now afraid to try ordering any new Keen's.

These shoes are awesome!!

Super comfortable and lightweight. Easy to slip on and go. Use them for gardening and yard work, walks and biking!
