Honest and True
After doing EXTENSIVE research of work boots on the internet, I was pretty skeptical getting these, as I was looking for non-leather work boots that are of good quality for my money. I absolutely LOVE THEM. Pros: Can be used for work (on your feet all day, light water conditions, mud- I worked with 20+ dogs up to 9 hrs at a time and had to deal with their "messes") Can be worn casually (I've gotten countless compliments when I wear them with jeans!) Super comfortable/sole takes some impact- I have a bad knee since surgery about 7 years ago, and I wasn't expecting how great these shoes would take the impact of walking/running! I definitely feel the memory foam bottom, making movement and stand more tolerable than normal sneakers Water RESISTANT- Obviously not 100% waterproof, as most things are, just be careful with non water-soluble liquids, but if you wipe it off soon after it should be fine! SUPER LIGHTWEIGHT- Once again, I was skeptical because, how could big work boots be "light?" Well heck, these are! It's hard to describe, but it has just as much weight as strappy sandals! Cons: Only con I have experienced so far is that it takes a few long work days to break them in, but once it does, it was totally worth it. If anything changes I will update this review, but so far it's been a month and I don't regret anything! Hope this helps!

Better in the wet/cold than my winter boots, have had no problems with water resistance, super comfortable and handsome, good quality, and really pleased that they are not leather/suede. Couldn't be happier with this purchase. Worth noting I tried the tan color of the same model and returned because the footbed was different and not as warm/plush/comfortable.

This is an Attractive Boot
The Lugs Women's Empire boot caught my attention due to the red color and the floral, tooled design all over the boot. I'm not sure how these will work for me because the sole is heavy and the faux leather is really stiff. This is a typical Lugs boot in that regard. They are true to size and they are really attractive. I have problems with foot pain especially in my left foot and I hesitate to wear any shoe or boot for long periods of time at first. I hoped that I could wear these to work but I must stand and walk on concrete floors and these have very little cushioning. It's not likely that I can use these for work where comfort for 12 hours is essential. Adding an insole would be a must and that could make the fit too tight for me.

Comfortable all day long,easy to walk in, keeps feet dry, looks great with jeans or leggings(tights)
I am always looking for a shoe/boot that allows me to feel safe, comfortable, and dry while wearing it--- the empire hi wr delivers just that. I barely find a minute to sit during my long days, due to work and my social life. This boot has a very comfortable memory foam inside of it that keeps my feet feeling relaxed at the end of the day. Easy to walk in, every step felt sturdy.Where I work and live (NYC), brings weather that is snowy and wet, but this boot keeps me very dry. It allows me to feel safe while walking in any weather condition. The way the empire hi hugs my foot and ankle allows me to rock these with a pair of jeans or leggings. You can dress down or up for almost any daily routine, work or hiking for sure.i would suggest getting half a size bigger because my feet felt a little claustrophobic in the boot .Overall, I really love them and how comfortable I feel when doing so.

I love my boots
I love my boots! I bought them in October last year and they lasted me through a vigorous Minnesota winter. I walk on my toes in general so I had to learn to walk differently in these or I would slip. I had one slip incident from walking down the front steps of my house that were covered in ice and resulted in a sprained ankle (my own fault, I didn't have them tied all the way and I was walking on my toes). I wore them while at work all winter long and walked in large amounts of snow, slush, and on ice and didn't slip and my feet weren't soaking wet or freezing cold. I ordered a size up so I could layer my socks or wear thicker socks because of the winter. They look nice with pretty much anything I wear, so I don't have to put them away for the warmer season and they are excellent work boots! I love them.

Perfect boots!
I am so impressed with these boots! I needed boots that would survive winters in Colorado and I have definitely found them. They are really great in the snow and slush (no slipping, completely waterproof, great quality) but they also look stylish at the same time. They give me all the winter protection I need without looking bulky - I actually get a lot of compliments when I wear them! They also keep my toes really warm, which is super important to me. These boots were exactly what I was looking for. I got mine in Grey and it matches every outfit, love the color. 100% recommend these boots.

Attractive/Fashion Boot Only
It was clear this is a low quality fashion boot with a Timberland vibe. It provides no support for high arches and has that cheap feel on the foot. I had to go up a half size and it still seemed short.

Product is a hit or a miss but comfortable.
It's a great product but cannot handle the abrasive effects from a Canadian winter. Mold started to develop under the memory foam soles and at that point I didn't necessarily want to keep them anymore. So if they're wet it's hard to maintain them through the winter and even with Protective sprays they will start roughing up with salt and are easily stretchable. You almost need to walk around with careful pixie legs. Woman 25, Ottawa Ontario

Great name brand value
I now own 5 pair of lugz bought from Amazon...this style is a really great looking winter boot for casual wear and feels very comfy as well. The quality look and feel of these boots live up to their brand name. The brown color is just a bit lighter than pictured and I like that. A great addition to my collection. D.Thomas
