Looks good in and out of water

I just purchased my 3rd one of these. My oldest still looks brand new. Its my favorite tank top for the summer. Looks like a normal athletic tank but stays in place perfectly while swimming. The built in shelf bra has great support and its not connected to the top layer the way most swimsuits are, so it hides my belly instead of accentuating it. I've worn it everywhere from rock concerts to swimming in a creek. (Size xl, 180lbs, 5'7")

Favorite swim top so far

This swim top is supportive and covers. The only thing to improve on is that the cup liners don't stay in place while washing or putting it on.

Good support

I love this swim top, I wear it for water aerobics , and actual swimming not just laying by the pool or beach. The reason I give a 4 vs 5 is that the bottom stretches out after about a month of being in the pool 3-4x per week, and then “ floats up” when working out if I don’t tie it or tuck it in my bottoms.

Sizes are confusing

I’ve ordered plenty of Tyr tanks but since they switched from size numbers to letters (S M LG) I cannot figure out my size. I wear a 16, so I thought a x-lg would fit. I couldn’t even get on it was so tight. I’m 5’4” and 165. Sending it back. Also they sent me a hipkini bottom, which doesn’t come with the top, and when I went to return the top and the bottom, they gave me credit for 2 tops! Thanks guys, now I have to straighten that out too.

Not a top that is fit for Petite or Small Busted Ladies!

This top looked so cute in the pictures that I had to try it. It said medium support, but I wasn't clear what that meant and there was not much detail provided. Upon trying it on I discovered that it flares out more than the picture shows (it's almost a baby-doll shirt-dress) and "medium support" means it's really best suited for women who are a D+. The shoulder straps are more like purse straps and the bra - even though it was listed as my size (XS/S) - was clearly for better-endowed ladies. The flare-out thing was not a deal breaker so I tried it in the pool but my first swim revealed more than I intended for anyone to see. The upper hemline fell open and I was like a baleen whale showing my, ahem, lack of need for such a thing as "medium support." If I hadn't wore it in the pool already, I would be returning. For those ladies who are blessed in their figure, I'm sure this would still be a great top!

THE BEST!

This has the best wirefree bra around! I returned another swimsuit for lack of support. This suit gives great support and looks good, too! It is also comfortable and you can be active in it. I now own it in two colors.

It’s awesome!

Comfortable, flattering and functional. Fits a little snug but the cut holds you in for lap swimming nicely. Great tanking top, wish it came in more colors.

Bell shape is unflattering

I really wanted to like this top, but in the end returned it because of the unflattering shape. As shown in the photo, the top is a full bell shape, which is not at all how it appears on the model. It also came down longer than I expected, which made for a very unflattering shape. I am 5’6”, 140lbs and a 36D. I bought both the L and XL. Both sizes provided good support, which is hard to find in a tankini these days, but they both puckered across the chest. If it wasn’t for the shape, I probably would’ve kept the L to account for any future stretching. Oddly, the L came with an extra set of cups, whereas the XL did not.
